The location, near the Notre Dame Cathedral and on the Main Street with lots of shops, very close by Place Stanislas. The room is very chateau old style. Breakfast was ok, what was very nice was the place, like a winter garden.

What a hidden gem. Nancy is a definite must see especially during the Christmas season. Lots of lights everywhere, things to do, neat little shops, and cool places to eat. So glad we stopped over for a couple of nights.

Loved the old town - lots of lovely old buildings and places to explore on foot - and by bus if you wish to travel further afield. The Staff in the Tourist Information Centre were very helpful (located in Place Stanislas) - we bought a City Pass which for us was good value for money. The Covered Food Market (fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and cheese etc) was great and lots of small restaurants and eateries there open for lunch.
We particularly like the Art Nouveau buildings - there is a marked tour to help visitors locate them.
A great place to visit and stay and hope to return!

A highly interesting city with beautiful baroque architecture. Lots to do and see, art exhibitions and museums. Friendly people, very helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer, but the access to our accommodation was so bad, we left early. We have never ever done this before.

Nancy is a nice compact city with lots of interesting sights, lots of history and a huge amount of Art Nouveau. IF you want a change, visit the Viell Ville( old town)...The church with all the Dukes of Lorraine buried there is fantastic.
Musee D'Ecole Dr Nancy worth a visit! Buses are free on weekends.
Great little shops& plenty of sidewalk cafés to sit & relax with coffee or drinks.
Good churches too

We were planning to do a drive through Nancy on our way to Burgundy simply because my name is Nancy.
However, Nancy was a lovely surprise with one of the most beautiful main squares in Europe. There is a lot of green space around where you can rest while touring around. The tourist office offers 2 different audio tours that are very interesting & helpful to get a feel for the settlement and history of Nancy.
Hotel located just outside of Nancy. Easy access to highway and downtown was only a short 15 minute drive. Room was very nice and air conditioning a bonus as temps were in the mid 30's (90's). Hotel pool was a bit crowded, but to be expected with the hot weather. Nice outside terrace for drinks. Very good Wifi in the room and excellent shower. Bed large and comfy and room size very good. Mini-bar in room. There was some inside renovations going on, but nothing really negative. Lots of free parking all around the building.
This historic property, parts of which date back to the early 16th century, features less than 10 rooms in total. It offers comfortable stays in the historic kernel of Nancy within a 10-15 min walk to main sites such as the Place Stanislas. The breakfast is excellent, although at the moment it is all provided by a single person. ... There is also the need to reserve one of the two available parking spots well ahead of time, as otherwise this means going to the public parking, which happens to be close by and cheaper.
Beautiful old private residence in old quarter of Nancy. Absence of elevator was not a problem for us and we enjoyed the wonderful stone spiral stairs up to our room. Perfect breakfast served to us in the elegant dining room including good coffee and fresh fruit salad. We parked on the main road and walked the last short distance because the old streets are narrow and one way. We walked to a restaurant nearby which the hotel booked for us. We would definitely stay here again.
The apartment is in a wonderful, quiet location overlooking the large park just off Stanislaus Sq. The apartment is a little spartan but adequately equipped. It was the perfect location for access to all that Nancy has to offer in the Old City surrounding the square--lots of shops, restaurants and museums. We appreciated the instructions and appliance manuals that the hosts provided in several languages. There is no washer/dryer, but we found a good laundromat not far away.
The staff was very nice and helpful. If I have seen older comments about this hotel that were very bad. We had a good room. The room was okay and in general clean. No terrible situations in the room. The breakfast is good and the price is fine if I compare with other hotels in Nancy. There is parking possiblity for af fair price and our little dog could stay for free. It is a good hotel for a night if you are on the road between two destinations.
The hotel is calm, clean and well situated for exploration of Nancy as well as close to coffee shops, restaurants and bars. There’s also an underground parking right next to the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful with all my requests and provided me with very useful information about the facilities, shops and eating places in the area. The tram and train stations are also nearby. I warmly recommend this place.
New hotel at the edge of old city of Nancy . very attentive staff they are taking care of every little detail.
Breakfast was very nice with many options.
Room was in good size and attractive design.
Bathroom was very clean but the door which was sliding door doesn't give enough privacy.
Big free car park in front of the hotel and aft as well.
Hotel access easy and large supermarket with 5 minutes walk.
Although it looks like not much from the outside, this is just one of the best places I have found in Nancy. The disabled access room on the ground floor was just fantastic. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Hotel Foch who made us feel so welcome. We had a lovely stay. Breakfast was lovely. The rooms upstairs were fine. Thank you all!
The staff provide exceptional service and extra miles.
The stay was super comfortable. The bed mattress was very comfortable.
Super great location. Will definitely come back to stay at the same hotel again when back to Nancy.
The breakfast was amazing with all elegance and great view. Great experience.
Nice clean hôtel with elegant outlook and indoor (especially a bar/restaurant downstairs giving out a warm ambiance). Great location (close to train and bus stations, the old town, and city center). Gentle staff. Comfortable room with a good view of the city and distant mountains.
2nd time Novotel Nancy and again a lovely relaxed experience. After 2 weeks of camping in the south of France this super clean hotel with an excellent breakfast is more than welcome. The swimming pool is amazing for kids and/or adults that want to relax their muscles.
The bathroom was spacious and really clean. Only negative that it not had more hooks for towels. I dont why many people complain in the reviews that the hotel is far from downtown, its just 15min walk and the tram station is just 5min away.
The hotel is easy to find, it has its parking lot. As it is located in a "center commercial" shops and restaurants (Burger King, steak house, etc.) are in walking distance. Nancy is 10 mins drive. Good choice for a one night stay.
The hotel has an ideal location, just a short walk away from all of the main sights in Nancy. It has a very laid back atmosphere and pretty rooms that are very well maintained by the staff. The people here truly seem to care.
Nice hip hotel, excellent for a quick stop in Nancy next to the highway. Couple of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, easy to get to the center. Modern hotel, comfortable, quiet and spacious. Really good value for money.
The breakfast was amazing and the host was kind, responsive, and helpful! The setting was incredibly beautiful. If we are in Nancy again, we will definitely stay here again!
