Dorsett Mongkok, Hong Kong, hotel in Hong Kong

The award-winning 4-star Dorsett Mongkok, Hong Kong is a short 7-minute walk from Olympic MTR Station.

The Hotel well located, most of everything next to the hotel ( mini market, 7eleven, Restaurants ( Chinese & Korean), McDonald is front of the hotel door, salon,…) The Olympic MTR station is just straight to the hotel five minutes by walk. You can hangout everywhere and easily to find the MTR station to back to your hotel location, you must need to have Octopus card to can easily use it for the MTR access as cannot access by cash or any other cards, and better to have Local SIM card for Easy use the Maps and to make your life more easy. The hotel teams are wonderful, from reception teams and concierge are wonderful and helpful, meanwhile thanks to my housekeeper she was lovely and very polite. The hotel has a bus shuttle to drop you in some of selected locations which is complimentary, I haven’t use it since I prefer to use the MTR more convenient but in case you need the teams are very happy to help you. A big THANKS. To the hotels teams from the management teams to the all employees for making my Birthday more enjoyable and made my trip fabulous and unforgettable, I have really enjoyed a lot the Beautiful view from my room floor 27th it’s so stunning you can see the night lights it’s amazing. Thank you so much for pampering me and made my Birthday more special. I am so grateful.

FAQs about hotels in Hong Kong

Style Amidst the Skyscrapers

One of the world’s busiest and most populated cities, Hong Kong is best-known for its stunning skyline with over 1,200 skyscrapers and its “East meets West” cultural mix. With architecture and interior design influenced by feng shui and modern technology, this city is truly unique.

Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting city and thematic tours, ranging from cuisine-oriented, to architecture or nature. The latter is particularly fascinating as Hong Kong has many amazing mountain landscapes, marine parks and the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island is only a ferry ride away.

Kowloon is a busy urban center near Victoria Harbor, where ferries are an excellent choice to see just how tall Hong Kong's buildings actually are. Excellent tax-free shopping can be found in high-class malls, boutiques and street markets.

Hong Kongs’ unique cultural fusion is clearly seen, tasted and heard in the local food, like dim sum from Maxim's Palace or hot pot from street vendors complimented local Cantopop music in the background.

Arriving at Hong Kong International Airport you’re only a short trip from the city center. Whether you’re staying in a chic hotel or a budget hostel, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for a holiday in Hong Kong.

    My favorite city.

My favorite city. Hong Kong may be a bit daunting for less confident travelers. It's very hustle & bustle, and navigation isn't always intuitive. But, it's still very safe & accomodating for foreigners. Almost everything is accessible even without being fluent in Chinese. And you'll have no problem accessing transportation. There's so much to explore & unlimited options for good food across all price ranges. Don't miss the Avenue of Stars, Ladies' Market, Central Mid-Levels, Stanley, the Star Ferry, HK Island Tramways.

My former memories of Hong Kong include: -cheap shopping. -cheap food. -great sights. Today's reality: -shopping is cheaper in other countries -food prices seem much higher now -sights are still great: Disneyland, Ngong Ping 360, Victoria Peak, etc -city seems to be always changing which is a great thing.

It was a mixed business and leisure trip, so I tended to look for places to eat nearby. It's easy to find good food just anywhere. I wasn't able to visit the Peak or Ngong Ping 360 this time, but those are some of my favorites to go to when in HK. Getting around HK is a breeze, the MTR stations are well laid out and easy to figure out. I would avoid Taxis and prefer Uber instead, as the taxi drivers tend to drive pretty fast and you find yourself sliding left and right on the back seat. Also, the smell of the taxis isn't always pleasant.

Contrary to common hotels in Hong Kong that goes the lavish and glamourous style, Little Tai Hang offers a really cozy experience. It feels just like home, but better. Very quiet in the apartment, yet the surrounding neighbourhood is full of classy restaurants and bars. A place for re-energising the spirit. Not to mention the view, looking over the Central Library, Victoria Park and the Victoria harbour. We tried the gym, it is not geared to the teeth, but got enough to get us going, also the equipment is quite new.

That was my second visit to the property and I was offered a free room upgrade, so I was very pleased. It was really quiet and spacious and I wish I could spend more time in there. It’s a good value property. The hotel is modern and easy to find when you’re in the area. Let me remind you that the location is not central at all, it is the last stop of the Tuen Ma subway line and takes no less than 45 min or 15+ stops to get to Central Hong Kong. The housekeeping team was very efficient.

Great location in Wan Chai. Great entertainment is just around the corner, but room is quiet. Also, government offices just across the road, depending on what you fancy. Hotel appears well maintained, and room is recently renovated. Also, room is quite spacious for this location, bed is comfortable. The TV has lots of foreign channels (and believe me this is not common for Hong Kong hotels in this price range). A variety of great food options in the vicinity. Great value for money.

It's great value. The hotel was clean and comfy, even though the rooms themselves were small (but that's pretty standard all over Hong Kong). The location isn't as bad as we thought, as there was a bus that gets you down to Central within 25min. The buses are generally on time, and they come every 15 min or so, so it was pretty easy. The area itself didn't have too much to do, but the boat houses nearby was a cool thing to check out while we were here.

We had a great experience at Harbour Grand Hong Kong. We were given a free room upgrade which was nice. Our room was spacious and had a great view. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I saw they had a pillow menu but it wasn’t necessary as the ones in the room were perfect. The hotel was less than a 5 minute walk to a metro station which allows you to easily go anywhere you’d like. There were also a bunch of restaurants in the area.
