This accommodation is a beautiful home with luxurious, unique rooms. There are expansive grounds, well appointed rooms, welcoming common areas to sit. The rain shower is lovely and the coffee maker and tea kettle in the room was a bonus. Staff is very kind and helpful for any recommendations for local attractions (winery visits) or to assist with dinner reservations. Breakfast has something for everyone!

Peaceful, with beautiful Vistas. The Staff was outstanding with smiles and open arms for any assistance we needed. Cooking class was fun, learning many new things none of us had known with our delightful chef who was patient and knowledgeable. Dinner at the restaurant was full of wonderful foods. The perfect place to explore wineries and take it down a few notches to relax and unwind.

I would imagine that, like me, most people go there to visit the famous Antinori wine estate, one of the most spectacular & lavish wine estates for visitors in Europe, and one of the few that are comparable with what you would find in California, South Africa or South America. There's not a great deal else here that I am aware of - it's basically a few small villages. Good location for visiting other neighbouring parts of Chianti though. And, as noted in my review elsewhere of the Albergo Bargino, its attached fish restaurant, the Trattoria del Pesce, is worth a visit in itself.

This town in the middle of Tuscany is breath taking.
This town in the middle of Tuscany is breath taking. In the middle of everywhere yet close to Florence making your return to the airport very convenient. The area is surrounded by wineries, restaurants, pizzerias and gelato shops making the panorama painteresque and unique to the area. Perfect starting point for biking too. Must visit.

The location of the town was perfect for us, as we came to have our own wine tour.
We had about a 30-40 minutes drive (tops) to each of our pins on the wine map we planned!
There are vineyards all around :)

The area was lovely, with villas and wineries everywhere.
The area was lovely, with villas and wineries everywhere. Did some of our own cooking, but also ate out.
A bus trip to Florence was worth doing.
Driving to villages/places worked well. Castellina, Radda and Volpaia our favourites.
Driving could be a little difficult on the narrow roads (for two cars to stay on the bitumen)... and buses.
We were given a bottle of wine from our winery stay, and saw the beginning of the grape harvest.

We stayed here 5 nights for a wedding at a venue very closeby (castello il Palagio) and we very much enjoyed our stay. The family hosting was really kind, accommodating and helpful. They gifted us with a bottle of wine at our arrival! The appartment was very comfortable and well equipped, it was nice to be able to make our morning coffee and have breakfast outside every morning. The hot tub room was really beautiful and fun though there’s a fee for using it. If you’re looking for a homey, authentic experience of rural tuscany this is it!
The host family is very nice, kind and helpful with excellent hospitality.
The lady staff during breakfast time, she is also very kind and wonderful.
The breakfast is very good, especially scrambled egg (very creamy and tasty).
The room is spacious and clean.
The villa look beautiful, with lots of antique renaissance furniture.
It offers a very nice view of Tuscany hills and has a big garden.
Sufficient free parking available.
The location is great, short walk to the city, where has a lots of good restaurants.
Everything! This place exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is absolutely stunning with some of the best rooms in the area. The staff is very friendly and happy to attend to your every need. The pool (which is heated by the way) and pool area can get a little crowded during peak season but the views are well worth it, especially at sunset. The restaurant runs its own bookings so I recommend you book your table in advance. Free private parking on site with lots of shade. Definitely recommend!
Really lovely and comfortable place. The washer / dryer combo helped so much as we travelled in winter. It has all the cooking and washing utensils needed with local restaurants or Coop close by. We would stay again, especially to relax even by the pool. Convenient location as we used this as our base to visit Firenze and Siena and other local areas.
A pretty small hotel with lovely views across the valley, the staff are very friendly and generous (an extra croissant for my visiting grandson for instance). Bedroom was comfortable and air conditioning is installed. Delicious dinner and aperitivi on the terrace, and their own excellent wines are available to buy. Beautiful swimming pool area.
We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious and the grounds were quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant on site one evening and visited nearby Florence and Siena. Winery on site that you could schedule tastings and tour of.
The stay at the farm was perfect in every way, the location, as it was close to Florence, tasty home-made breakfast, the Tuscan vibe and our hostess Gulia was so welcoming and helpful that it made our time in this unique part of the world unforgettable. I would gladly stay in Il Pintello again.
Incredible. We loved this property. It's beautiful, in a great location and the staff is exceptional. Great location for exploring Tuscany and easy day trips to Florence.
Highly recommend the castle tour and wine tasting with Ms. Jillian, it was a highlight of our stay.
The location is amazing at the hotel. The views and space of the hotel grounds is really amazing for walks or hikes easily. Breakfast was also perfect in variety and offering. Room space and cleanliness was very sufficient as well.
Location was great only a 30 minute drive into the centre of Florence. Good choice of local restaurants within driving distance. Picturesque landscape and grounds of the hotel were nice and well kept. Massage treatments available.
Beautiful B&B just outside San Casciano in Val di Pesa and 30 minutes away from Florence.
The rooms were clean and well decorated, the owners very friendly and breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our stay!

This is a hidden gem. Out of the way, but a great view and very accommodating staff. An old Italian estate that has been converted to hotel rooms. Excellent value.
