Wonderful stay! This is a beautifully refurbished property in a prime location. Truly old fashioned hospitality- in a modernized environment. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.

A beautifully decorated room. Comfortable bed and very quiet.
The breakfast exceeded my expectations. The staff went to great lengths to bake me some gluten-free muffins.
Very thoughtful.

Professional yet warm and friendly hosts that made us feel comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished and the facilities are exactly what we wanted. Much attention to safety and environmental aspects that provide a sense of security and serenity.
Highly recommended and I will definitely be back. Thank you Tommy and Leonie ❤️

Port Elizabeth is a beautiful coastal city with miles of beaches and is true to its nickname the Friendly City. The older parts in Central have stunning views and buildings but unfortunetaly the local government has allowed it to become neglected, uncared for and in some places dangerous. What a pity, as the old centre with its harbour views and gracious historical buildings should be the gem of the city.
That said, there are still other places worth a visit as property owners in the central area really make an effort to keep their properties well maintained and in the spirit of what it used to be.
There are many restaurants and my favourites are the local ones, each with their own vibe and unique menus. I just love Port Elizabeth.

Gqeberha to give its official name is a fairly relaxed place as largish cities go. It has great beaches though you need to be prepared for windy weather that can reduce the fun of being on a beach.
There is a lot of history, with interesting sites to visit. Also some great food options.
It is not the country’s top tourist hot spot but has plenty of attractions that are in any case better enjoyed without a massive crowd.

We liked everything about the place.
We liked everything about the place. The owner waited for us because our check in time was delayed buy our bus for about 30+ min. Our child loved the set up very much. The privacy we got was excellent. I would recommend Peradise in the City to anyone who visits Port Elizabeth!👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Being at Port Elizabeth was the best holiday I ever had.
Being at Port Elizabeth was the best holiday I ever had. I wish to see myself going there again. The cottage I booked was perfect and next to everything that I was looking for. Sea views, restaurants, casino and mall. I was able to walk less than 5min to the beach.I enjoy being at Brodwalk mall and opposite the mall is a sea. I went to Cofi restaurants and the food was delicious 😋 Mantshwanyana Mabaso from Lefiso Mpumalanga, leaving in gauteng Silverton .

It was a great starting point for a tour of the Garden Route and a private guided tour to the Addo Elephant National Park.
Unfortunately the weather was awful and the icy wind drove me crazy. If you like a windy town, then this is the place for you!
There is not much of interest to see, but that is because I'm an incredibly fussy traveller and because I am more interested in swimming in the ocean than anything else. It might be a great place for other tourists.
No breakfast, no sea view
I was not told about the extra day of stay.
The photos at the advert are mixed, so I booked a facility and I found something else,
On the advert page it appeared as a special, and when it comes to payment it was full price,
With that price I could have booked a far better facility in summerstrand because I
Booked an apartment to my surprise I found a student room, you could even hear a guy
Next talking on his phone.
So I must say it was a bad experience.
The room was larger than expected, which was nice; the bathroom was really nice, the lighting in the room was great, and the art and service were amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and especially given that I'm a tall person and in most hotels, my feet hang off the end of the bed - the bed was wide and long enough that I could comfortably ly down on it without my feet dangling off.
It was convenient to all we wanted to do in Port Elizabeth yet not in center of city. Close to airport. Lovely staff who were great communicators. Owner arranged an excellent tour of Addo Elephant Park. The center court yard is very private and nicely planted. Great breakfast. Security excellent. Comfy beds. Liked a microwave and mini fridge.
The Treetops Guesthouse is a really cute hotel super close to the Port Elizabeth airport (5 minutes by car). The host welcomed us with a warm smile and lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We sadly didn't stay long enough to enjoy the pool in the nicely decorated garden.
I was disappointed that the guesthouse was not beachfront as advertised. As a foreigner, I was travelling for work and not comfortable enough to rent a car and it was a bit uncomfortable to walk to basic stores. The staff was impeccable and helpfull.
This is my fourth or fifth stay at the Beach Hotel - I keep returning there with each visit to Port Elizabeth. The most outstanding feature is the staff - their friendliness and forever helpful. The food is excellent! This is really a home from home!
Great small hotel in Port Elizabeth; beautifully themed with one of the best bathrooms (amazing bathtub) + ridiculously comfortable bed. Food & service at the hotel was great, with friendly staff willing to cater to any dietary requirements.
Staff were excellent - from Goodman at the door to the breakfast team and restaurant staff.
Unobstructed views of the ocean. The best hotel breakfast in PE. Upmarket restaurant on site. Ample secure parking
Generator for load shedding
no breakfast offered, its self catering place, the location suits me well, it allows me to move around places without getting lost as i'm not much familiar with the city. It is affordable and worth for the price.
A quiet and relaxing oasis that's close to all amenities. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and very speedy. Exceptional personal service which far exceeds standard hotel offerings.
Town Lodge Port Elizabeth offers a delightful stay with its prime location near the beach and Boldwalk Mall, boasting an array of dining options and shops. The beach amenities add to the convenience.
I really enjoyed staying at Sun1 Port Elizabeth Gqeberha and the staff was so good to me and their hospitality is to be appreciated because it's wonderful
