Front desk evening staff person was pleasant. Bed was comfy.
Front desk evening staff person was pleasant. Bed was comfy. Hard water perhaps affected the shine on bathroom taps but bathtub had holes where handle.had fallen off
The next morning, heard manager dismissing complaint about the smell of a room from a customer.
Place felt dingy.

Liked the staff at the front desk, very friendly and helpful. Didn't like that the breakfast area wasn't advertised as closed. If they truly thought covid was bad enough to close the breakfast area then their staff should have been wearing a mask. NO ONE on the hotel staff wore a mask.

Short walk to the Orpheum which is beautiful and has great shows! Little bit longer walk to the Hard Rock which has entertainment also that is always good! Close to numerous food options and fun bars! You have to experience Sioux City!

We went to visit our daughter and family, so didn't do much sightseeing. Sioux City does have some interesting things to see, but isn't a major tourist attraction. We like Sneaky's chicken, Ichiban, and Pizza Ranch.

My God the place was awful.
My God the place was awful. Filthy dirty and the curtains were falling off the windows. There.wad.a very heavy smell of pot throughout the building. This is the type of hotel that should rent by the hour or for 19 dollars a day. 100 a week kind of place

Totally filthy! And smelly!
Totally filthy! And smelly! Awful breakfast, no security, non- working light fixtures, people milling about the outside, gathering at outside windows. We will never stay there again. There are several family members that go back and forth, having this city a great place to stop. We have shared with all of them NEVER to stay here.
I had a wonderful stay at Warrior hotel, nice room, very good food, very nice and professional staff. The members of the staff (except this Sammy, I was talking about in the negative aspects) are extremely nice and professional; I can't remember all the names, but all (except Sammy) were so nice. I only remember the name of a super super nice lady at the reception, that I want to mention, because she's really special: Jenni!!!!
Thank you Jenny, thank you all (except Sammy, of course) for making my stay in Sioux City very special!!
What I did not like is it was the first hotel among six that we stayed at that charged me up front When I provided a credit card That I thought was for incidentals. We had previously stayed at another super 8 on same trip., where final payment was made upon check out. I had not asked as I had not expected that nor did they tell me that.. I learned upon checkout, and they advised they could not reverse it.
When booking, I was a little surprised at the rate… higher than we wanted. But, I am SO happy, that we ultimately chose this Avid location.
It was intended to just be a sleep stop, but in the morning ended up walking the dog to historic Sioux City… what a treat! Yes, they accept dogs. :)
The breakfast was wonderful, lots of options. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.
We recommend.
Horrible hotel never see my life very disgusting the room and the carpet super dirty plus the employees she so rude he name is Cheyenne I ask the towels and I stay at the hotel 3 days , nobody change the towel so she didn’t give me towel and she forget the customer pay her salary customer first .... NO MORE this Sioux City hotel & conference..... 🙁😡😤
Rite after we checked in I was called back into work,so our stay was only a few hours. The hotel fraudulently charged another 50.00 saying we didn't check out on time, when we had left at 4 am way before the 11 am checkout time. Apparently they do this to a lot of there customers. This is not what a professional company should act or treat there customers.
believe it was the cleanest hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. The lobby and adjacent restaurant was clean, bright, and welcoming. the room itself was very clean and comfortable. the thermostat was easy to operate. the shower was great with just enough water pressure. loved the art on the walls. the carpet was clean and comfortable.
I love the room. It is spacious and quiet. This has been my home away from home for several months. The staff are all really nice. The hotel is clean, there is a restaurant/bar onsite, and several restaurants and a casino nearby. There is a gym and a washer and dryer that is free. Also, the room isn't too expensive.
Great customer service! The hotel was in a great location for gas and food. The rooms were very comfy. The breakfast was good as well. I liked how they had warm breakfast sandwiches and hot coffee.
Fantastic property in downtown Sioux City. Great amenities, many of which we weren’t able to fully take advantage of due to our schedule. Not inexpensive, but well worth the price.
Stayed here one night en route to somewhere else. The room was clean, staff was fine, breakfast was fine. What I would expect for a budget hotel. Easy to access from the freeway.
Evert hotel should hire Sandy at the front check in. She was extremely helpful and answered our questions thoroughly.
Great location, very clean room, and a comfortable bed.
