Paleocastrica- it’s nothing like picturesque village. It’s big parking sides with lots of cars and coaches ,very busy Lots of abandoned ,rusted cars and boats just left on the sides of the road . Paleocastrica it’s a port where tourists are coming to rent a boats for a day trip Beaches are small, not clean , very overcrowded. Sea waters are polluted because each beach it’s a station for lots of boats There is no decent place to eat . It’s looking beautiful on pictures, but different when you’re there. Disappointing

Great views and a couple of nice beaches. The hinterland is beautiful with some good hiking. Town is a bit haphazard and untidy. Totally closes in the off-season. Closest supermarket (good) 2 kilometres, cafe 3 kilometres, restaurant (great) 5 kilometres away

Paleokastritsa is an absolute gem of a destination, and my recent visit left me in awe of its beauty and charm. The natural beauty of Paleokastritsa is truly breathtaking. The clear, turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea meet the lush, green landscape, creating a postcard-perfect scene. The jagged cliffs and numerous small coves and beaches make it a haven for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and sunseekers alike. One of the standout experiences in Paleokastritsa is visiting the Monastery of the Virgin Mary. Perched on a hill overlooking the village, the monastery offers panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. It's a peaceful and spiritual place that provides a glimpse into the region's history and culture.

Lots of restaurants. Three beaches and others accessible by water taxi. Mainly sandy. Excursions easy to book. Nice little aquarium with a guided tour. Very busy, all the coach parties from the cruise ships come here. Large free carpark.

Paleokastritsa is a perfect holiday destination.
Paleokastritsa is a perfect holiday destination. Easily accessible from the Corfu airport by public bus. Located between the sea and mountains provides both beach experience with various sports (swimming, snorkeling, motor boats) and interesting hiking paths all around. Plenty of accomodation opportunities so everyone can find something to their liking! Lots of tavernas, shops, and car&bike&scooters rentals. Many nice beaches bigger with all amenities and smaller secluded ones providing peace&quiet. Highly recommended!

The main town is about a 30 minute walk. I rented a bike and it was perfect. It's easy to get to by bus if you take the green line from Corfu Town (36 mins). The owner was very helpful. The view on the balcony was breath taking. There are 2 bed rooms 1 bath. The beds are firm, the hot water is great, the wifi works better during the day then at night, the place was quiet, clean. I will definitely stay here again!

But hostess was so kind to find a better room for us quickly and without any problems. And I am grateful to her for that. So I can`t say nothing about room facilities, cleaness etc. But there is one thing I must say: if you planning to visit Corfu, you should stay in Paleokastritsa for a couple of nights at least. Beautiful coastline and baysides, neighbor villages - you have to see it. And once more thank you, kind hostess! (sorry, I forgot your name:))

Secluded sitting area outside in the shade. Good WiFi. Good reliable shower. Great caring touches from the hosts who were quick and happy to help and provided us with little but very useful things like salt and water. The location was just perfect for us, between Acapulco and La Grotta where you can both swim and go out. Next to the Green Bus stop to Corfu town and to a good supermarket.AlexandraUnited Kingdom

You can find an umbrella and beach towels in your room (it is really nice). The main beach is situated in 40 metres to this hotel, so it is really easy to get there. Also you can find the supermarket and pizzeria in one building with hotel, so you can find whatever you want. The bus station is situated in 50 metres, so you can explore the Corfu easy.

Rooms are equipped with little kitchen that has all you need for the basics (fridge, a burner, water kettle, sandwich maker, pots, dishes, glasses). Wifi also worked quite well. Relaxing and quiet place above Paleokastritsa with parking. A good place to base yourself to explore the area or enjoy the beach.

The room was amazing, with sea view, modern bathroom and very big comfortable bed. The service was amazing, lovely staff, especially the host Vanessa! The breakfast was amazing with lots of choices. The beach is literally next door, and you even get discount on the sun lounges at the Akro Beach Bar. Also, the bus stop is right next to the entrance for if you want to go to Corfu town.

Comfortable beds. Great pool area with plenty of beds . Excellent breakfast best I’ve had in the four hotels I have stayed in Corfu. Nice gardens giving shade. Very helpful staff. Seriously good hotel.
