If you want a special experience go to Skopolos. We arrived by ferry from Skiathos which is only 1 hour and 14 euros each. Visually the town is special from the sea and is very friendly and full of nice bars and restauraunts but is also very chilled. Prices are sensible.

Very wide choice of restaurants and bars, but not all open when we visted at end of September when everything was begining to shut down. There is no real beach in the town so transport is requred, local buses are good but services reduce in September. Lots of steep slopes and steps so not ideal for less mobile. The town has very much the feel of a place that has been taken over by tourism. Plenty of trips to visit parts of the island and other islands.

Is a wonderful island with many beaches in all of them I found all the necessary umbrella sunbeds at the right price.
The best choise is to book an accommodation in skopelos town and during the day move around the island.

Lovely island with a lovely port with many shops and restaurants. Extremely safe and it has a lovely vibe about it. We took a Mamma Mia tour which was inexpensive and a great way to see some of the main sites around the island and visit some lively beaches. It is very mountainous and the roads are not for those afraid of heights. Skopelos town is definitely the best place to stay

Picture-perfect Greek town, totally unspoilt, with some amazing bars and restaurants. Great for all ages and tastes, and the whole island is easy to get around on the local bus. Some stunning beaches to visit, a definite must-visit Island.
Regina Hotel was very accommodating. My ferry arrived several hours prior to check in and receptionist, Visili, allowed me to both store my bags and relax in their downstairs lounge area, providing a bathroom & bottled water. I relaxed, wrote and read there as it was a very warm day. As soon as a room became available I was allowed to check in about 2 hours early which was really very welcomed. The location was excellent because it was just off of the main walking street but yet set away enough to be quiet in the evening.
We had a little view of the port of Skopelos Town and it was beautiful :) the building itself was lovely. Lots of charm and had a "homey" feel which was very nice. Location was great! Very close to shopping and restaurants as well as everything that Skopelos town has to offer. We were able to walk from the port where we arrived on a ferry easily with our luggage. The owner was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed out time.
I never leave reviews but I had to for this trip! First time in Skopelos and this family run hotel instantly made me feel like I was at home. The most accomodating and friendly service was provided by the family. A beautiful city and a wonderful stay at Aegeon Hotel. If you are planning to stay here I definitely recommended hiring some form of transport so you can get the best out of what the island has to offer!
The hotel was overall clean and the pool area by the garden was calm and nice to rest in the afternoon. The staff paid much attention to cleaning the pool area and the breakfast room and tables. The hotel is about 10 mins walk from Skopelos town, it is a fairly easy distance though you have to walk on a busy traffic road for the last few minutes to reach the hotel.
Mimi and Theo were the perfect hosts and Christine's House is an idyllic hideaway. We would love to return one day! The views from the property are spectacular and the pool is very welcome when we visited end of June. Really nice touch that they come and do a general clean everyday. It feels like a very private hotel.
My room was modern and stylish, with all the comforts one could wish for. I loved the convenience of the hotel gym, allowing me to keep up with my fitness routine while travelling. The restaurant was a culinary delight, offering a diverse menu of mouthwatering dishes. Definitely recommended this unique hotel!
Breakfast was superb. Skopelos cheese pie at its best, home made cakes, and a very good selection of fresh fruits, yogurt and cereals. The view from our room breathtaking, overlooking skopelos town and harbor, and just 5 minutes walk to the the shops and tavernas. Excellent hosts. Thank you!!!
This island is a miracle. The hotel is perfect, right on the beach, the view from the terrace is magical. The beach is really 50 meters away, the sea is super refreshing, everything is calm and beautiful, there are few people, it's relaxing. A perfect place to relax.
My room was spotless, providing all the comforts I could wish for. Breakfast was a tasty, with variety of delicious options to kickstart the my day. The hotel's restaurant served mouthwatering dishes that satisfied our cravings. Strongly recommended.
The hotel was less than 1.5 km from Skopelos town so it is super convenient for people who would like to be close to the bars and restaurants of Skopelos town.. It is also close to the most famous beaches of the west part of the island
We were stranded by the storms and had to find a cheap hotel for two nights. Booked online. Nice enough room. Nice shampoo and soap. Nice gardens. Walking distance to shops. Owner drove us to port which saved us getting a cab.
A traditional Greek hotel. No frills, but very clean and comfortable. The owner doesn’t speak very good English, but that’s not a criticism, as it’s Greece. She was very friendly and accommodating.
Very good location very close to the port and pharmacy and supermarket and bus station! Everything was very close to the hotel!! The staff were very kind and helpful!
Pleasantly surprised me with its fair pricing for such an exquisite experience. My room was impeccably clean, a testament to the hotel's commitment to hygiene.
I had great times here, hotel is not just a place to stay, it's a haven of comfort genuine hospitality. Highly recommend it for a heartwarming getaway!
