Little, which mean you can walk everywhere, relaxing but if you want to party you can.
The beaches are beautiful, the people that live in the island amazing, food is great.
Nothing else to say.

Absolutely lovely. Definitely coming back again.
Absolutely lovely. Definitely coming back again. This island is a true paradise. Quite a long way to get to but worth it when you’re there. Sunset beach gives you little coves surrounded by rocks, great snorkeling and kayaking, beautiful sunsets and a quiet laidback atmosphere. Sunrise beach offer more open beaches free of rocks and plenty of white sand. It is busier and more crowded but still offering beautiful crystal clear waters.
Ko Lipe caters for all crowds really and yet it retains that small paradise island vibe that enables you to switch off and truly rest. All locals are incredibly friendly and polite. They are genuinely hospitable and caring. Very easy to get around the island as you can walk everywhere. Should you need a taxi, there are plenty and no matter where you’re going you pay thb50. Food wise there’s plenty of choice for both Thai or western food. If you’re vegetarian or vegan you also will have plenty of options. The hotels offer catering choices at reasonable prices. There are some tours to go on should you feel that way inclined. I honestly can recommend it enough.

Long tale boats are invading the beach and dirtying the water and damaging the coral reefs
It was so hard to swim somewhere clean and without a boat
There are no rubbish bins in the beach, lots of rubbish everywhere
Incredible little island suffering from resorts, long tale boats and plastic consumption and reckless humans
I feel so sorry for the little incredible ko lipe, I hope they will protect the island and save it

Thai paradise. But already very touristic. If you are not a fan of snorkeling/diving, nothing much more to do. But generally nice views, snorkel trips, excellent clear sea and rhe white sand. And the food!

So much busier than we thought it would be.
So much busier than we thought it would be. Very noisy with the boats. The pattaya beach completely ruined because of the boats. Sunset beach is pretty and quieter but take mosquito spray, there are clouds of them wanting your blood. The general feel of the island was that we were tolerated because we spend money. Not a friendly island at all.
I spent 200baht in Wave supermarket afterwards I asked for a plastic cup and they wanted to charge 1 baht, I really wished I'd given 500 and waited for the change.
On the plus side great snorkeling away from the boats.
Sanom Beach Resort across the rickety bridge is well worth a visit, 400 baht for 2 comfy beanbags on the incredible beach, food great and not expensive, definitely worth a visit, best place on the island.

We visited briefly in 2018 and loved it so much we booked for Christmas this year (2023).
There are now way too many people, too much tourism, too many restaurants (but food is not as good or as cheap) and, worst of all, way too many motorbikes.
"Walking Street" is impossible to walk down without having to move constantly for bikes to pass.
We were here for too long (6 days but left early) and would definitely not return.
This family resort is located on the greenest part of island, very close to the quiet beach which is the best for snorkeling.
Every place on Lipe is also close by a walk or by a free taxi by owners :-)
Very spacious and clean rooms.
Great yummy breakfast with big plate of fruits - the best sandwich and pancake i've ever had in hotel :-)
Absolutely amazing owners, very kind and willing to help you. You feels like in your mama house :-)
For sure the best accomodation of our 3 weeks trip in Thailand.
Go there and enjoy great time!!!
The owner is a super friendly enthusiastic guy from Barcelona who will try and help you in any way he can! The location of the hostel is really good (don't follow your Google Maps though, it took me somewhere else, just go to the 7-Eleven at the end of walking street, it's right above it). There is a fridge, microwave and kettle and you'll get a towel on arrival. Maybe some cups and cutlery would be nice for the future. There are also brand new lockers that work with a code.
The rooms (we had the balinese luxury suite and the poolside suite) are spacious and very comfortable. The bed is big and had a very good mattress. The pool was extremely beautiful with huge plants all around it. Taking the breakfast every morning facing the sunrise beach and the crystal clear water in front of you was a pure enchantment. The breakfast is a la carte and very good.
The beach has fine white sand and offers possibility to snorkel directly.
The room was very nice and spacious. The location and beach were wonderful. Breakfast in the morning had a wide selection, lots of tasty fruits, and good coffee. It was nice that the shuttle greeted us and helped bring our luggage to the hotel. And the same to check out from the hotel - the staff helped bring the luggage down to the shuttle. In the evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, there is complimentary transportation from the hotel to Walking Street.
An oasis of sanity and good taste in the slightly chaotic and crowded Ko Lipe. The bungalows are basic, but very tasty and well made from natural materials. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, the whole cluster of bungalows is pleasantly shaded by trees. Very friendly hosts, and very environmentally friendly setup, the grounds are perfectly maintained. The owner's restaurant (and bar) recommendations are spot on, not to be missed!
Lovely bungalows steps from the sea and Sunrise Beach. No air-con or hot water, but the bungalows never got too hot, and the shower was powerful and relaxing. Beautiful restaurant/chill out area, with sensational views and good food, although portions were a little small. Staff throughout the resort are wonderful, from the bar to the dive shop to the spa. Happy Hour is fantastic value and the cocktails were wonderful.
Beautiful bungalows nested in the jungle, on a cliff above the far east end of Sunrise Beach. Serene, peaceful and quiet. Everything can be delivered to your room. That particular stretch of the beach has the finest powdery sand as well. Great restaurant on premises with plethora of options, both local and western cuisine. The staff is phenomenal and very accommodating.
The staff handled transfers between Adang and Ko Lipe for us. This was very helpful! They took very good care of us in the restaurant.
Water in the rooms each day, etc.
The pool is great as this is not really a swimming beach. The beach at the national park was awesome, 20 - 30 minute walk.
1) Loved the breakfast and the food in general!
2)The resort was well kept with all the right amenities
3) An easy kayak journey to the small island just off sunrise beach, plus some nice off the beach snorkelling there
4) Boys enjoyed the archery, and there were free bikes available too!
Great beach and pool area. Lush and green hotel grounds. Quiet, relaxed and safe atmosphere. Spacious room. Great location on Sunrise beach, less boats there and you are right next to the snorkeling area. Tasty food at the hotel beach restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff.
thought location is just near to the beach, but there were boats parking block the view and sea to play! it can blame the both driver since they came before hotel established. the gust must rethink either staying front beach hotel to support the business and your own wants..
Great resort on Sunrise Beach. Beautiful room with pool access. The pool is very big and the resort is next to the beach. Breakfast was good and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Taxi service to and from the ferry was much appreciated.
The hotel staff were truly excellent. They were very helpful throughout our stay. The location, if you stay in the lower bungalows, is excellent. We had a pool side bungalow. The breakfast was very good. Dinners were also delicious.
After Agoda left us stranded due to not sending our reservation to our original hotel, we were almost left stranded. We were able to get an apartment here for the night and it was a really nice place and very comfortable
I traveled with my husband , the place is magical , hotel stuff and the owner are extremely nice and helpful
Around the magical beach away from other resorts which creates a unique atmosphere
Highly recommend
The staff was very kind and professional, who help you with pleasure.
The room are comfortable and clean, and what about the beautiful situation ? Few walk and we are on the beach.
I recommended this hotel !
Nice location on sunrise beach, the breakfast was simple but nice and of course the view is amazing - also quite close to walking street, while still being quite
