Visitors and luggage leave Talaga ferry via long tailed boats. Immigration is under cover on the beach where passports are returned. Expect to wait an hour and then pay the National Park fee. Tuk-tuks have set fee although reduced when you get them from your resort. Taxi stands are easy to find on Walking Street which is pedestrian-only at night. Cash is King! ATMs are available. Lots of restaurants, bars and street food around. Not that cheap but good standard of food in restaurants. It's bigger than we thought! Keep National Park ticket on you if you go on island day trips. Far end of Zodiac beach resort was amazing. Great restaurant - Synergy?

Little, which mean you can walk everywhere, relaxing but if you want to party you can.
The beaches are beautiful, the people that live in the island amazing, food is great.

Absolutely lovely. Definitely coming back again.
Absolutely lovely. Definitely coming back again. This island is a true paradise. Quite a long way to get to but worth it when you’re there. Sunset beach gives you little coves surrounded by rocks, great snorkeling and kayaking, beautiful sunsets and a quiet laidback atmosphere. Sunrise beach offer more open beaches free of rocks and plenty of white sand. It is busier and more crowded but still offering beautiful crystal clear waters.
Ko Lipe caters for all crowds really and yet it retains that small paradise island vibe that enables you to switch off and truly rest. All locals are incredibly friendly and polite. They are genuinely hospitable and caring. Very easy to get around the island as you can walk everywhere. Should you need a taxi, there are plenty and no matter where you’re going you pay thb50. Food wise there’s plenty of choice for both Thai or western food. If you’re vegetarian or vegan you also will have plenty of options. The hotels offer catering choices at reasonable prices. There are some tours to go on should you feel that way inclined. I honestly can recommend it enough.

Long tale boats are invading the beach and dirtying the water and damaging the coral reefs
It was so hard to swim somewhere clean and without a boat
There are no rubbish bins in the beach, lots of rubbish everywhere
Incredible little island suffering from resorts, long tale boats and plastic consumption and reckless humans
I feel so sorry for the little incredible ko lipe, I hope they will protect the island and save it

Thai paradise. But already very touristic. If you are not a fan of snorkeling/diving, nothing much more to do. But generally nice views, snorkel trips, excellent clear sea and rhe white sand. And the food!

So much busier than we thought it would be.
So much busier than we thought it would be. Very noisy with the boats. The pattaya beach completely ruined because of the boats. Sunset beach is pretty and quieter but take mosquito spray, there are clouds of them wanting your blood. The general feel of the island was that we were tolerated because we spend money. Not a friendly island at all.
I spent 200baht in Wave supermarket afterwards I asked for a plastic cup and they wanted to charge 1 baht, I really wished I'd given 500 and waited for the change.
On the plus side great snorkeling away from the boats.
Sanom Beach Resort across the rickety bridge is well worth a visit, 400 baht for 2 comfy beanbags on the incredible beach, food great and not expensive, definitely worth a visit, best place on the island.
Staff were absolutely fantastic! Being a smaller island and resort, the service was personalised. Our little boy was greeted and looked after so well by staff, nothing was ever a hassle.
Fantastic location, we would get up and watch sunrise, see the monks walk along the beach and receive donations from hotels and give blessings then enjoy a long breaky and chats with other guests. Short walk to walking street, mini marts located just outside the hotel and again we're lovely people.
The common areas were our favourite part! Tons of areas to stretch, read, make video calls, etc outside of your room. Internet was reliable and fast (I had zoom calls). The beds were comfortable and the AC in the rooms was strong. Staff were super nice! We liked the location a lot, sunrise beach is a 2 minute walk away and was our favourite beach of the whole island! It is also a super short walk to get to walking street where all the action is!
The location was perfect - the resort occupies a great spot at the end of sunrise beach, from which it’s possible to paddle board, snorkel and grab a beachside Thai massage, or to just enjoy happy hour drinks. Easy walk over to Sunset beach via Walking Street. The room was modern and spacious rooms, very comfortable - nice to spend time on the balcony. Surprisingly good water pressure in the shower! I found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
The location is the centre of walking street, you walk off the pier and you're basically at the hotel. We loved Koh Lipe so much that we actually extended our stay a further night (total of 3 nights). Despite being on walking street, it was very quite. Koh Lipe shuts down relatively early so no noise at night. Two free waters and fresh towels daily. Nothing fancy but absolutely perfect and good price! Would recommend to a friend 10/10.
Very nice place on the quiet Sunset Bay.
The bungalows are very comfy, spacious and has A/C - very rare at these prices on koh lipe.
We loved the place, however it is a bit far away from everything else so be prepared for walking a lot (or taking the taxi from the hotel 50thb to go to town)
Beautiful sunsets, nice coral and fish just outside the resort
We also really liked breakfast.
Comfortable, clean, secure hostel to base your stay on Ko Lipe. Central with good access to all beaches. Cafe downstairs is convenient, if a bit pricy, but there are decent enough options nearby. Common area has beanbags and free coffee/tea, good place to chill out.
After Agoda left us stranded due to not sending our reservation to our original hotel, we were almost left stranded. We were able to get an apartment here for the night and it was a really nice place and very comfortable
Location is super good in the middle of sunrise beach also near the walking street.
Facilities are good enough. Stuffs are easy and friendly. Worth money as other accommodations around this area could cost a lot more.
Great location. Rooms were very clean, no bugs, no mosquitos, no surprises. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. If you want to stay close to everything on Ko Lipe, it’s affordable and worth considering option.
The bungalows are lovely inside and the location on sunrise beach is excellent with great snorkelling right outside. The hotel provides masks and flippers. The food is exceptional and the cocktails are great too!
Dada and the hotel owners were wonderful. Wonderful location. Nice food and lovely service. Felt like a home stay. We got a lovely front line beach room. Close to most things and lovely beach walks.
-I like their location which is on sunrise breach and near walking street about 5 minutes walk.
-nice decorated
-you can rent kaya in the hotel which the price is more cheaper than other venders
Beach and views are great! You can go for a walk to sunrise beach as well. Resort is really nice located. Staff super friendly, breakfast and other food very nice!
Great beach and pool area. Beautiful green hotel grounds. Spacious room. Great location on Sunrise beach. Canoes, sup and snorkelling masks available for free.
Great location, great breakfast, and great facilities (clean swimming pools, nice view, and a good restaurant). Most hotel staff were very nice and helpful.
