I enjoyed taking up the offer of an upgrade from the MD and the views from the Floating Villa were breathtaking.
The Staff was great, polite, kind and friendly, MD was very helpful and friendly. I loved the views and the windows all around were great to see the changing views at all times.

Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Went to see waterfalls - well worth the effort.
Recommend some level of walking fitness before going - more than 1 500 uphill steps during the day resulted in delayed onset muscle soreness for a couple of days.
Take a GoPro for the waterfalls.
Water temple also worth visiting.

Excellent weather, albeit a bit chilly even in July. Greenery all around. Winding roads (not recommended to roam these roads by car if you get car sick easily). Plenty of waterfalls, though all of them require a bit of a trek. Very few tourists compared to southern part of the island.

For nature lovers that love to explore - tonnes of waterfalls in the area including the breathtaking Sekumpul Waterfall and the Lemukih Natural Water Slide were completely epic! The roads are decent to ride a scooter around and you get to see way more! On our next trip to Bali, we have already noted that Munduk is 1 of the places we would return to.

A wonderful place for nature lovers.
A wonderful place for nature lovers. A totally different side to bali, more authentic in a way. Waterfalls, lakes, mountains amd temples. A quaint little village. Absolutely worth seeing. Only issue is it's hard to get around, as you areore reliant on a local driver.

Truely a hidden gem in Bali.
Truely a hidden gem in Bali. There are many beautiful waterfalls to visit, they can be done with a guide or without (do your research though!). Having a scooter would be handy but not mandatory, I was able to walk from my homestay. It's cooler, less humid and very quiet so it's a nice change from the other parts of Bali. The locals are also some of the friendliest people you will meet!
Tranquil paradise in the heart of nature - De Pardis gets a top recommendation from us! From the beginning the staff were helpful and attentive to our needs. The room is large and clean, and we made good use of the TV (connects to Netflix and YouTube!) Loved the meals we had here, breakfast, lunch and dinner available. The people here really made our stay though, they were wonderful, kind, and genuine souls. We had such a good yarn with them and can only hope we have the opportunity to return to Munduk and stay here again!
The location was absolutely gorgeous! The hotel’s restaurant looks out directly on a beautiful approx 70-ft waterfall, and I also had an excellent view of it from my room’s balcony and even from my shower. You can easily walk down to the base of the waterfall, and even swim down there. The staff were extremely nice, and the guide who works there took me hiking to five waterfalls, and on the back of a motor scooter all over the gorgeous countryside! This hotel is a nature-lover’s dream! Also amazingly affordable!
I loved the staff, Dedi the manager is very welcoming and willing to help you organize your trip around Munduk area.
If something wrong in the hostel Dedi will fix it fast.
Clean place, very spacious, luminous, very comfy beds.
Laundry, billiard, balcony, garden, tables to eat outside. Football fields !
You can order food here at honest price. The food is tasty
Near an unbusy road so it's quiet.
The wish of Dedi is to make an hostel with the standard of an hotel and it's a success.
We had a great stay here!
The view is stunning, and the house is 5 minutes from the Munduk Waterfalls hike. Perfect if you like hiking!
The hotel staff was incredibly nice. They made a fire for us, which we really enjoyed.
Breakfast was delicious! Many options and great cooking.
They have two dogs at the hotel that we also had a good time with.
Munduk is the most beautiful place we have experienced in Bali, and Munduk Clove was the perfect base to explore it from.
The view was the best we had in Bali, Munduk itself is quiet and small and you can't walk anywhere but you don't need to when at this hotel. Very beautiful, very clean and lovely staff (comfiest bed on the whole trip). I would recommend including breakfast and dinner when you book unless you would like to get a taxi each night you stay.
This was the only place we stayed that had a heated pool as well which was amazing we loved our stay here.
Me and my partner had a very pleasant stay at Munduk Clove, we enjoyed the beautiful view, the quiet area and the staff was really friendly and helpful. They arranged a scooter as soon as we arrived and on check-out transportation to another location and we were happy about the transparency of the taxi prices (they had a paper list with the prices for all the locations Canggu, Ubud etc.), the breakfast was tasty as well.
I absolutely loved everything about my stay. My room was wonderful with the most beautiful view of the mountains. Every single member of the staff I met were incredibly friendly, kind, helpful and professional. The breakfast was amazing and there’s a number of activities included with the price of the room. This was a unique experience to me and I can highly recommend a stay at the Munduk Moding Plantation Nature Resort.
I loved everything about this beautiful hotel. But the road there is sometimes very dangerous at the turn and if you are a beginning traveler, please use the services of experienced drivers to get to that wonderful region. I would like to express my great gratitude to the entire staff for the courtesy, friendliness and cleanliness in the rooms. We will be glad to visit you again!
The Lesong Hotel and Restaurant exceeded my expectations. The villa’s were stunning with great views of the rice fields & the rooms made us feel like we were in a summer movie. The staff is incredibly friendly and very willing to help out in anyway possible. The food was excellent and well prepared.
The hotel is really cool, the room is clean and luxurious. Sleep well with the goose-down pillows, the linens and towels are comfortable from Egyptian cotton.
The food is amazingly delicious, from breakfast to dinner with the best quality of food.
The view is the best during my stay in Bali.
Mara oka is a quaint quite nestled on the hill coming into Munduk , rooms are very comfortable with a little verandah to sit and take in the stunning views of the mountains and the rice paddies , the staff so friendly and helpful my stay there was so enjoyable thank you made oka
Beautiful location in Munduk, you’re in the middle of nature. We spent every evening at the sunset bar. The staff is also very professional and friendly. Restaurant was very good with a lot of choice. The location is great to explore the beautiful area by scooter.
The only positive point of this hotel is a very kind gentleman who gave me ideas for walking around and always had a smile on his face when I met him! ( I didn't ask his name unfortunately but he had glasses )
The location of the hotel, the staff and all the amenities in the hotel were top of the line and made our stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. Highly recommended for anyone travelling to North Bali
We booked 2 different rooms as we had a longer stay in this hotel.
This room was normal, lesser view but the bed was really comfortable.
