It was the best accommodation during my whole trip. Just make sure you book the sea view bungalow if you want the sea view. You’ll get the large balcony and really well decorated bungalow. Super clean. Good breakfast nearby just for 150 baht. The family who owns it is very nice and keep everything in check.

Comfortable rooms with fantastic location. It feels like in the the middle of the nature but still many restaurants in Haad Yao are around. Also services like laundry and motorbike rental are available. Also very nice staff. All in all great stay!

Beautiful rooms, very clean. Close to haad yao beach which is lovely, and there are a few nice bars/restaurants round there. Can see the ocean from the balcony which is a lovely place to hang out.
The taxi driver they recommend (Joe) was very friendly and I organized a few trips around the islands with him.
Built into a cliff on Haad Yao, west of Phangan Island, the High Life Bungalow has Balinese and Thai-style accommodations with steps leading down to the beach.

Very quiet area, only 3 or 4 places to eat or get a drink, the beach is beautiful but too shallow to swim in, nice to sit in though.
Most of the hotels / restaurants sell the same food but not grate food apart from the Italian restaurant called loco I think, the food was outstanding and not overly expensive and the staff where brilliant.

The area is picturesque and at least when we were there uncrowded, quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of choices for places to eat and stay. Several restaurants are perched on the hillsides and have spectacular views of the beach and gulf. There is a 7-11, a dive operation, and a motorbike repair shop. A number of businesses were closed due Covid-depressed tourism.

The Haven resort has the most stunning terrace and watching the sunset at night was magical. the food and staff were amazing and our host Vincent could not do enough for us. the resort is very hilly, so a scooter if confident enough is ideal, otherwise a taxi at 200 baht and they are plentiful. the choice of beaches are countless, loads of restaurants. avoid the swanky ones as they are over priced and not that good in our opinion. the small rustic ones are half there price and food is the best by far. The Haven resort is an absolute must for visitors, whether staying there or just dining there. the sunset views were the best I have ver had!

Beautiful white sandy beach.
Beautiful white sandy beach. The beach the very clean and not too busy. Lots of bars and restaurants to try out. There’s also lots to do on the beach if you don’t want to just sunbathe, there’s yoga, paddleboard, kayaking, etc. Also the sunsets are amazing from this beach!

Haad Yao has a good beach but as most of the beaches in KOh Phangan, in August you cannot swim because of the low tide. It’s a good base to take a scooter and travel around, but it’s one of the many. In general fr my point of view Koh Phangan it’s too touristic and far away from the authentic Thailand you can find elsewhere
Owners; On and her sister San and her husband Tuan. They make sure all your needs are met with a huge smile
rooms; Spacious, shady, new, sound proof, comfy beds, exceptionally water pressure at showers which is very rare on the island
location; close to one of the best beaches on the island to swim, not much low/high tides, many different segment restaurant and bars
variety of service; rooms, breakfast, cleaning service every other day, laundry, bakery, restaurant and many more with welcoming hospitality
Lucky resorts is tucked into its own jungle, within walking distance of haadyao beach and haad salad beaches. I loved the privacy of my small bungalow. The pool is wonderful and cooled me off during the heat of day. For me, I love simple living, so a room with a fan, hammock, and pool access was good enough for the price of all. The resort host was most responsive here on booking.com in the messaging widget. They were very patient with my sad attempts at motorbiking.
We've been upgraded due to overbooking. We had a room with a beautiful seaview. Air conditioning is working well.
The hotel is located on the beach.
We also had free breakfast everyday during the stay to compensate the overbooking inconveniences.
There were a lot of shops and restaurants around the hotel. We rent a bike to go to the full moon because it was the cheapest mean of transport.
One of the best places I have ever stayed. The attention to detail is great from making sure we had a transfer from the pier, to welcoming us, everything was perfect. It is a family oriented hotel and they were great with kids (kids pool, toys, high chairs etc). We are a couple with no kids and also loved it. Great bungalows, very close to the beach and very chill. Highly recommend!
High Life sits up on the hill over looking Haad Yao beach. it’s an easy walk along the beach into the village and a perfect place to explore all the other beautiful beaches. the restaurant is delicious and the STAFF are the most special, attentive, warm and wonderful people.
it’s generally just a very special piece of paradise !
As a solo traveler with no motorbike, location was great. there is 7/11, a couple of restaurants, atm, and also some beach bars in short walking distance. the bar of the hotel is really pretty and fun to sit in, also in the morning. staff was nice.
Good location right next to one of the best beaches on Phangan. Clean, decent resort but could be much better considering its position and layout. Overall it was a good value since the choice of accomodation on Phangan at the moment was terrible.
It was just an awesome stay for me - close to the beach, 7/11, bike rental, cafes and restaurants. The room was so cozy and comfy! I wish I could stay longer, but all houses were occupied already. Will definitely come to Bao Village again!
Great and friendly staff! Sunny and Tom went out of their way to make you happy! We really enjoyed their wholesome breakfast. And finally, loved how close to the beach this property was. it was a beautiful beach to stay next to!
Rooms are bright & private. The restaurant has a great menu & right at the beach. Pool area is very nice to hang out during the day. Great location walking distance to 7/11 & great cafes and restaurants on the main road.
Shirlea is located just off the Haad Yao beach. The hostel.is chilled and has a nice vibe to it..the staff was helpful in recommending things to do and in renting a motorbike. Bed was comfy, facilities were just OK.
Clean and spacious room. Free instant coffee and water heater though I would have loved the creamer. Beach bar was very nice. Staff great! i really liked the location at Haad Yao Beach 👌🏻
Beautiful view from bugalow. Room spacious. Air-con fabulous. Food was delicious. So welcoming and warm owner. Walking distance to Haad yao beach. Will definitely be back.
Everything: the location, the quietness, the almost private beach, the staff, the big bungalow. I don’t think I’m every gonna stay somewhere when I return to Koh Phangan
