Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Don’t know why it’s so empty. Maybe it’s just the town or the price point for most in the area. I loved it.

Phitsnaulok a small city in north central Thailand which once was the capital for a short period. The hotel I stay in was with in walking distance ie 20 minutes of the main historical sites. To go to the main night market is a very short tax ride and the same for a very famous folk museum.

It's a pretty laid-back city with most attractions within reasonable walking distance from Petit Paramata. Walking along the river is great and a stop for an open-air foot massage highly recommended,

In Phitsanulok you can see how the normal Thai people live.
In Phitsanulok you can see how the normal Thai people live. People are not used tourists. I saw only some tourists there.
The inhabitants do not speak english. Only the staff in big hotels speak quite good English.
There are Buddha temples, but you can see them everywhere in Thailand. The lokal food was good and very cheap.
I find Phitsanulok a little bit boring. If you want to travel to a town almost without tourist and experience the normal Thai-life, Phitsanulok is a right town for you.

Beautiful famous and revered Buddha. River with cafes a long the banks and also floating restaurants. A pleasant friendly small Thai town with some historic interest and a river. Woodstock worth a visit. Eat overlooking river. Lot of nice small coffee places all over town. The Folk Museum is definitely worth a visit.

Didn't get around that much in town so I can't answer informatively about sightseeing attractions, restaurants, nightclubs, entertainment. Went to an obviously popular Indian/Thai restaurant but I didn't care for the food or the atmosphere--loud band playing Beatles songs.
Not appropriate for a family style dining place. There are many outdoor presumably cheap thai restaurants. Phitsanulok is a family town, you won't find the kind of salacious entertainment notable in Bangkok or Pattaya. Went to a nice hotel and did some karaoke. People I met were friendly, helpful, especially the security folks at the train station. Easy to get around. Taxi's were metered and cheap! Not like in Chiang mai, where 250 baht is standard fee at point of pickup.

Nothing special to see or do there, we should have avoided...
Nothing special to see or do there, we should have avoided the city altogether, although we only arrived at 9pm to leave the next day at 9am, we could have spent more time elsewhere and avoided additional transportation. We grabbed dinner by the river, a few little outdoor restaurants with local youngsters, super friendly atmosphere but that's it.
We really liked the kindness of the only staff present during our stay. He was very helpful, telling us what to see and when to go to the night market. Really welcoming, well done. He was also in charge of the breakfasts, which were also superb and very good. Nothing to say on this side, everything was perfect.
The location of the hotel is very good near the Nan River. We had rented a car for the occasion and were able to get around easily. We also really appreciated that the staff had reserved a parking space for us. Very convenient.
The location is in a small and quiet alley, so there is no noise at night. For a great price the hotel provides a service apartment with plenty of space for one or two persons. It’s also walking distance from the main temples and a bit longer walk will take you to the riverside night market. The food stalls close by are fantastic for breakfast.
Hotel is at about 15 minutes walking from the train station. Breakfast was modest, but good enough. Room was ok, as long as you don't have one facing the road (those may be a bit noisy during the night, not sure - we got one and asked to be changed to the other side of the hotel, which was possible).
Staff is very friendly with great advice with respect to nearby sights. Great value for this city. Lots of facilities nearby. Scooter/bicycle rental available. Clean. Flexible with check-in/check-out. Make sure to ask about the Aircon options, even if they're not shown on booking.com.
The dining room and pool are pretty nice. Buffet breakfast is nice but only if there are at least 40 guests in the hotel. On the first morning, we only get a choice of Thais or American breakfast because there are fewer than 40 guests at the hotel. The hotel personnel are very nice.
The location nearby the temple and its convenience as there a small shopping mall in the hotel! There a chinese restaurant on the underground floor and massage on the 3rd floor. staff were friendly and helpful
Love the decorating style of the hotel with clean simple line and lots of greenery out door. Mattress and pillows are comfy. Breakfast was sufficient with nice coffee. Sufficient parking lots as well.
I chose this resort because of its location. I only needed a place to stay one night midway between Chiang Rai and Bangkok and I wanted to avoid the heavy traffic in the CBD of Phitsanulok.
Plenty of shops nearby and if you are keen on Thai street food, it's just at the side of the hotel, everyday. However, the hotel is quite old, so don't expect too much.
I love everything about this Hotel ,the staff is super adorable ,the hotel is very clean I just love Kraiseng place will defo go back and I love Phitsanulok
