We loved how relaxed the island was. The locals were super friendly (especially the children who said hello and good morning whenever we went past). It is very quiet compared to other Thai islands such as Koh Lipe / Koh Phi Phi so be prepared for early nights rather than late night partying.

Charlie’s beach was our favourite.
Charlie’s beach was our favourite. You could sit on the loungers and umbrellas for free although the beer cocktails and Pad Thai were too good to decline.
You get around the island in tuk tuks which cost 50baht each no matter what the distance.
The Home Restaurant, Arunee (fantastic cook) and Manat run this lovely restaurant. One night we had barracuda for dinner which was delicious.
We were lucky one evening to see turtles by the pier

Ko Muk is a very nice and quiet island (non-touristic).
Ko Muk is a very nice and quiet island (non-touristic). The locals are very very nice and kind. I really enjoyed my time there, especially the food!!
You can go to the Pearl Beach on sunrise and to the Charlie Beach on sunset time. The sunset there is really amazing.
There's no cars in the island, only moto-taxis, and you can rent a scooter or a bicycle to explore.
There is ATM if you need cash (you will definitely).
If you want to have an amazing experience in Ko Mook, you should come here. The owner is awesome and very attentive. He picked us up for free from the pier, looked after us and offered us plenty of options to do in the island. Even though it was low season, he planned almost everything to do here. Apart from that, the location it's perfect, close to the main street where you will find some restaurants.
Finally, we have to say we really enjoyed Ko Mook thanks to him :)
We loved our stay at Mookies. The location was great with just a few minute stroll to Charlie beach. The facilities were always spotless and comfortable. They offer a small group tour to Emerald Cave and Koh Kradan. This was a huge highlight and very affordable.
Above all the staff at Mookies were some of the kindest people we met in Thailand. They helped us book anything we needed and went above and beyond to help.
Would highly recommend staying here.
I was looking for some privacy and quietness and I found it here. First of all I loved that Ko Mook was a very chill place, not so many people, great restaurants and nice beach. Then the 4 bungalows were very spacious, the bathroom was spotless and I felt so welcomed by the owners. The reggaebar is at the front of the street and the bungalows at the back, they play music until 10/11pm, so it is a great idea to have a couple drinks there after dinner ;)
What wasn’t there to love?! Everything was perfect, the bed with the mosquito net, the view at the sea, the daily fresh breakfast (best I had in Thailand!!!) with a scenic view, the island itself, but most of all the lovely staff! They were most helpful, I had to visit the doctor and they made sure I was able to meet the doctor. I even got a cute toiletry bag when I left.
I would definitely come back on my next trip to Thailand.
The green surrounding and the well kept garden creates a oasis at Mook Montra resort. The bungalows has a lovely design and simple and comfortable and super clean interior. the bathroom was super spacious and the water pressure is excellent which is hard to find in Thailand. Also like to give a shout out for the staff who is kind and carrying and goes with an extra mile to please you anytime when you need something!
Very close to the pier and near the best beach on Koh Mook (Sivalai Beach). Convenient for almost all the restaurants. If you are planning to visit Koh Mook and you can't afford Sivalai Beach Resort, then you should stay here. The owner could not have been more helpful and gave us fresh fruit every day. Very comfortable bed with 4 comfortable pillows. Lovely view of the garden.
Lovely stay right next to the beach. Free kayak rentals were appreciated, and the tour they arranged for us was one of the best we have booked in Thailand.
Breakfast is fantastic too and we really appreciated them making us our own vegan noodles without us even asking, as they noticed the buffet version had eggs in it.
Love the location it’s right by the main walking street of Koh Mook. Also it is very close to the pier. Location of the hotel is on a beach so we could have breakfast overlooking the sun rising from the horizon. Couldn’t have asked for more. Their happy hour is also very inexpensive.
Excellent place to stay on Mook. Staff is amazing, speaks good english. Short walk to the beach. Comfy bungalows. Definitely recommend. All prices are high on these remote islands compared to the rest of Thailand, but its worth it. Very relaxing time on Koh Mook
The wooden cabins were surprisingly comfortable, it’s the best I’ve slept in weeks! The accommodation is so relaxing and the family running it is so kind. The food (curry with fish) was the best I’ve had in Thailand. Also: they have real European coffee!
Set right in the heart of a Thai village, a two minute walk from the ferry jetty. Handy for shops and restaurants. Koh Muk is a very small, quiet island. This accomodation is fairly basic but modern. Staff are friendly. Lovely view when the tide is in.
The location was great. Loved sitting on the balcony in the evening and early morning listening to the ocean waves. Having a fridge and bottled water was nice. Taking a hot shower was a luxury on this island.Very unique place for a night or two.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the entire resort space was well maintained and welcoming. Great private location on one of the best beaches on the island. Pool and breakfast was excellent.
Room in front of the sea very comfortable with AC and perfect view.
Easy to walk to the beach and center within 20min.
Resort provides food and drinks on site
Very quiet and beautiful place.
Everything! The room, the service, the staff, the environment. Tu, Lisa and Ann are amazing, they make everything easy and they are very nice. If you come to Koh Muk, you must stay here!
