Far off the beaten path in Bali! As a tourist in Bali, I get overwhelmed by all the merchants and taxi drivers shouting about their merch/rides... Not an issue in Pemuteran! The vibe in Pemuteran is much more laid back and not once was I accosted to buy something or offered an unsolicited ride anywhere.
Loved it!

A great little fisherman village.
A great little fisherman village. Away from the hustle and bustle south Bali, very quiet and peaceful. With beautiful coral and reefs, good for snorkling and diving. There are quite a few restaurants in the village with big variety of choices. Strongly recommend Warung Setia, the tuna sashimi there is must to have.

Nice little beach town.
Nice little beach town. Many nice restaurants on the side streets off the main road. Great snorkeling at the beach or you can take a boat ride to the coral reef about 45 minutes away. To get around you can use a local taxi service if you don’t have a car.

Menjangan Island has the most pristine coral for snorkelling and diving.
The Island is a national park so protected. I saw scorpion fish octopus and swam with a turtle. The Beaches here range from white sand to black depending on where you go. It is a traveller's dream because it shows Bali the way it was 50 or so years ago. Beautiful and unspoiled by tourism. There are running tracks through the national park.

A quiet place to snorkel & escape the crowds.
A quiet place to snorkel & escape the crowds. Great food options at Lakawi Bali, The Sage, Seita’s Warung & others. All within walking distance. WiFi is super spotty & slow , but there is a very cool digital nomad cafe “Pisaga”.
Definitely go snorkeling out to Menjangan island!
Best sunset spot is close to Pura Pabean. Need to drive there about 5 -10 minutes from the center of town.

one of the popular place in North Bali.pemuteran is ideal for those who want to go snorkelling,it is close to pulau menjangan, the excellent place for snorkelling.also if those who want to explore Bali national park in the west, staying in pemuteran is convenient, cuz not far from there.but most importantly,it has a beach, and also many good eateries around.pemuteran is not too busy,so staying here very quiet.
If we could rate higher then 10/10 we would! The gardens and grounds were idyllic. Our bungalow very clean and comfortable. The service and staff were exceptional and very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and within 50m we could be dining beach side or head the opposite direction to eat at nearby Warung. We felt like we had been transported to our own piece of paradise. Thanks Pondok Sari..we certainly hope to come back.
Excellent value for money. Well located in the center of Pemuteran near all restaurants and dive centers. Close to the beach. Confort levels are sufficient. Place is fairly quiet because it is at the end of an alley and away from the main road. Aircon is provided as well as mosquito nets. Breakfast is served in front of your room, it is frugal but you can add extras for a modest cost. Highly recommend.
The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Super clean and new furnishings. Had a total Balinese feel. The restaurant was excellent. Food was prepared to order and super fresh. Everything was delicious. Staff were great and super friendly. Pool was perfectly located and sparkling clean. They provide bicycles to go into town which is a short ride down a cool street.
Our room was close to the pool and beach, the pool was clean and clear.
The room was neat and functional with a lot of satellite TV channels to watch.
The fridge was cold for our drinks, we got fresh bottled water each day and a Kettle for a cuppa.
The in room safe was handy for your valuables.
There was a nice big bath to soak in after a hard day of snorkeling.
The homestay is absolutely amazing. It has large bedroom and bathroom, nice and clean swimming pool, and also comfortable bed. The staffs are also very kind, one of them gave free transport service to the festival in Pemuteran and offered some food to my wife and daughter. Can't say any nagative thing about the homestay with this good value.
Very beautiful and nice place. Close to the ocean, where you can snorkel and watch corals and fish right next to the shore. Very friendly stuff, well-kept garden, clean pool with water bar. The hotel can help with laundry, rent bike, organize excursions and etc services. We've absolutely enjoyed our staying in Tirta Sari. Highly recommend
Amazing friendly owner and staff. There is a very special vibe about this place, you can feel the love and care that is put in, it emanates and spreads from the hands and smile of the owner. Nice cottages with beautiful handwork, good beds. In the middle of life in Pemuteran, close to the beach and near some beautiful temples.
I think that this is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in, in Bali and I have stayed in a few different types. It is incredible value for money, right on the beach, very clean rooms, lovely staff, good breakfast and snorkelling equipment available to hire and well worth doing.
Clean and spacious room. i loved that there is a mosquito net as not all the hotels provide them. the bathroom under the open sky adds to the whole experience and atmosphere :)
The owners are super friendly and helpful.
we loved our stay in Pemuteran. thank you!
This is a fantastic oasis in Pemuteran with a lovely lush courtyard with a nice and spacious pool!
The family and staff are all great and served us perfectly during our stay! Highly recommend it!
The Breakfast was amazing every day. Nila and her family are extremely welcoming and friendly, nothing is a problem. I'll be staying here every time I'm in pemuteran.
A wonderful hotel! Very nice staff, they have a special attitude towards each customer. The hotel offers very tasty food .In the spa makes unique massages.
