From the moment we entered this property we were amazed at how peaceful and beautiful it is. Our room was spacious and clean and we really liked the Balinese decor. Our terrace was an extension of the room overlooking the rice fields and the hills. It was like being inside of a painting. Absolutely gorgeous. Everyone working at this hotel was very nice and polite. We would like to come back and stay here again.

There were a number of adventure/cultural/pampering packages available to add to your stay - I only wish I had time to do more of them. We did a rice field walk which was very good. All of the staff were lovely, and Ketut, the manager, was such a pleasure! The on-site warung, "Warung Melita", was great and the breakfast provided was delicous. Since the resort is a little remote (but not too remote), we chose to eat at the warung for dinners and it was very tasty. We even participated in a cooking class and enjoyed the food we made for dinner that evening. Note that there are other warungs a five to 10 minute walk away.
An extra little added luxury was coffee and tea delivered to our patio early in the morning so it was waiting to be enjoyed when we woke up. The grounds were lovely, beside a river, and the pool was very refreshing.
Set against a backdrop of rice terraces in Sidemen, Teras Bali Sidemen Bungalow and Spa offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and Agung Volcano.

It was a nice little villa tucked away on what seemed like a resort street. The rooms were clean and the pool was lovely. It was close to other spots to eat and we enjoyed the views of the terraces from other locations. The breakfast was ok- I really liked the scrambled eggs and pastry set. The beds were on the firmer side but I prefer that. Overall it was very comfortable and a great price!
Featuring an outdoor pool, Khrisna Hs and Cottages is located at the rice fields in Sidemen and offers accommodations with private terraces and open-air shower facilities.

I liked the positioning of the cottages a lot, it's nature all around you and you'll get to have breakfast with an amazing view! Also the small tables and water at your disposal make it easy to stay and relax there.
Small rural village that has not been spoilt by tourism.

Sidemen is still not too touristic and does feel off the beaten track. There is a lot of development happening, but locals still see people as people. It is walkable in 30-ish minutes. There is plenty of restaurants, tracks and things to do while being there. Would definitely recommend! Easy to get to and 1 hr away from the beach. Very calm and quiet.

Great authentic area to visit in Bali, the rice terraces are spectacular and also there are some nice views around if you go by scooter. Good area for tourist needs, nice warungs and restaurants ( i recommend Samanvaya) in the area, scooter rental and stores. Pretty close to many waterfalls, views and other atttractions like Penglipuran Village.
The main streets get pretty busy sometimes and some b roads are in a really bad shape, but with a scooter you can overcome everything and the spectacular nature makes you forget any inconvenience.

Good and clean restaurant at the hotel. Several other restaurants at walking distance. Laundry and motor rental available. Nice traditional pasar only 5 to 10 minutes drive by motor. Great place to start waterfall excursions and rafting.
The countryside at Sidemen is breath taking!
I have stayed twice in the last 6 months.i love the location, in the rice fields, only minutes from Sidemen.
The family that run Sweet Escape are so friendly & helpful.
They all remembered me from my last visit, which was incredible.
The rooms are large & clean. Their restaurant is well priced with views over the rice fields.
The swimming pool is great, not in full sun all day.
Highly recommend, if you want to get away from the tourist traps.
What can I say about this little piece of paradise? Amazing and quiet place, awesome rooms, pools, hot tub, very good restaurants inside (Asri Dining) and the masterpiece is the staff. I want to thank again Ketut, Dandi, Diah, Ogik, Anila, Bimah and Boy for being so professional, kind and nice. They are very welcoming and helpful, Samanvaya Resort is really a must stop in Sidemen.
The location of this homestay is just dreamy - - it's in the middle of rice fields, walking distance from cozy Sidemen 'center'. The huts are spacious and perfectly harmonize indoor and outdoor living: the bathroom is outdoors with geckos and all, while the indoor bedroom has AC, mosquitoe net and storage space. Breakfast could be more generous but was nice.
Quiet place: Sidemen is a very peaceful village and this hotel is probably one of the best in the area. Nice restaurants nearby. Did not try the restaurant of the hotel since it was closed for maintenance. View is wonderful (rice fields, mountains & forest), nice and big enough pool.
You can park your car or bike easily, if needed.
This place is amazing. Could not recommend it any more for anyone looking to visit Sidemen. The hotel is spectacularly finished, the staff are unbelievably welcoming and the food and facilitates were second to none. If you're travelling to Sidemen and can afford to stay here, then it's absolutely worth the premium!
This family run hotel is located in the heart of Sidemen's rice paddies. It is peaceful and the views are absolutely gorgeous! Gede and his wife have been so welcoming and did accomodate every single request I made! Do try the banana pancakes for breakfast, they are delicious!
The view was amazing, the swimming pools and their area were fantastic. The room was cute and everything was clean.
The staff was very friendly and helped us with a booking issue we had.
The hotel has a pathway down to the river area which is really beautiful
The view on Mount agung is amazing and the room is really spacious! The staff is really friendly and helpfull. The pool had a nice view as well and Sidemen is a lovely little town with friendly people and many smiles& ‘hello’s’!
Very nice place, in the center of Sidemen but so green and quiet. Very nice villa, clean , and convenient with beautiful tarace. Good brekfast and very kind and nice people.. I really recommended stay in this villa.
The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, the gardens stunning and the host was helpful, engaging and he went above and beyond! I loved my stay and would definitely stay again when i come back to Sidemen!
The rooms are really big and spacious with a nice view on the rice fields and or the pool. I highly recommend this hotel. Sidemen is really a great place to stay for 1 or 2 days in Bali!
There was a nice view and the pool was good. Hot water and pressure worked well. Large room and terrace with comfotable bed. Strong fan in the room, A/C is not necessary in Sidemen.
The pool area is beautiful. It was what attracted us to this hotel. Staff are also very friendly and will help out with anything if it's in their power.
