Far off the beaten path in Bali! As a tourist in Bali, I get overwhelmed by all the merchants and taxi drivers shouting about their merch/rides... Not an issue in Pemuteran! The vibe in Pemuteran is much more laid back and not once was I accosted to buy something or offered an unsolicited ride anywhere.
Loved it!

A great little fisherman village.
A great little fisherman village. Away from the hustle and bustle south Bali, very quiet and peaceful. With beautiful coral and reefs, good for snorkling and diving. There are quite a few restaurants in the village with big variety of choices. Strongly recommend Warung Setia, the tuna sashimi there is must to have.

Nice little beach town.
Nice little beach town. Many nice restaurants on the side streets off the main road. Great snorkeling at the beach or you can take a boat ride to the coral reef about 45 minutes away. To get around you can use a local taxi service if you don’t have a car.

Menjangan Island has the most pristine coral for snorkelling and diving.
The Island is a national park so protected. I saw scorpion fish octopus and swam with a turtle. The Beaches here range from white sand to black depending on where you go. It is a traveller's dream because it shows Bali the way it was 50 or so years ago. Beautiful and unspoiled by tourism. There are running tracks through the national park.

A quiet place to snorkel & escape the crowds.
A quiet place to snorkel & escape the crowds. Great food options at Lakawi Bali, The Sage, Seita’s Warung & others. All within walking distance. WiFi is super spotty & slow , but there is a very cool digital nomad cafe “Pisaga”.
Definitely go snorkeling out to Menjangan island!
Best sunset spot is close to Pura Pabean. Need to drive there about 5 -10 minutes from the center of town.

one of the popular place in North Bali.pemuteran is ideal for those who want to go snorkelling,it is close to pulau menjangan, the excellent place for snorkelling.also if those who want to explore Bali national park in the west, staying in pemuteran is convenient, cuz not far from there.but most importantly,it has a beach, and also many good eateries around.pemuteran is not too busy,so staying here very quiet.
The room was big, very clean and with a good AC. WiFi was very good with strong signal in the room. The bathroom was very cleaned and spacious, with a beautiful shower. The owner was very nice and ready to answer to our WhatsApp messages every time. They arrange also transportation, that is good in this place, where grab and similar doesn't work.
The location is prefect: near places where to eat (of every kind, from warung to cool restaurant, cafe and markets) and also At 5 minutes from the beachby foot.
Best hotel I stayed in in Indonesia. Everything was perfect. The bungalows were very pretty and clean, the pool and hotel facilities nice. The location was great as well, just 2 mins to the beach. Juvenex Spa is also around the corner if you fancy a nice massage or mani/pedi in a friendly and professional setting. The owner even helped us organise a car transport to Ubud after our stay and replied to all our other questions fast and competently. Would stay there again and again; definitely recommend!
Sun Suko is a highly recommendable starting point to all kinds of activities in the Northwest! The snorkelling in Menjangan which we booked directly via the hotel is a short drive away and the diversity of underwater life was world class. During our stay, the warm-hearted Sun Suko crew took great care of us and was a big help regarding our planning and other wishes. We also loved the yummy and healthy breakfast, the nice Yoga Shala and the amazing mountain view from our room!
You could not find a kinder, more generous, and caring family than the one that runs Pondok Shindu. They provided anything I wanted and treated me like I was something special. They were absolutely amazing, and I would stay with them again anytime. The room was very comfortable, the bed was great, the air conditioning worked well, and I absolutely adored the food. Putu, the son, drove me to Denpasar and was an excellent driver. Wonderful, wonderful stay.
If we could rate higher then 10/10 we would! The gardens and grounds were idyllic. Our bungalow very clean and comfortable. The service and staff were exceptional and very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and within 50m we could be dining beach side or head the opposite direction to eat at nearby Warung. We felt like we had been transported to our own piece of paradise. Thanks Pondok Sari..we certainly hope to come back.
Pool was good and the room had a moskitos net and other insect preventing measurements, working air conditioning and open bathroom. the staff was friendly and mostly very helpful.
The breakfast is presented nicley
overall we enjoyed our stay but would never stay in a similar hotel again because of the crazy amout of insects and animals that can invade the room and bite or make loud noises
One of the best places to stay in Pemuteran beach. Beautiful garden, well maintained pool, nice and comfy rooms and literally steps away from the beach. You even get your designated lounges on the beach - although, they are tucked away in a quite unpleasant corner. All in all great value for money, it's our second time here and not the last!
The staff are really lovely and the room is super clean and generously sized. The facilities are well maintained compared to other places I've stayed in Pemuteran and the pool is a lovely way to cool down as alternative to the beach. The food that they serve for lunch and dinner is also delicious and affordable.
Excellent stay at Mango Moon. The staff were very helpful with organizing a tour to Menjangan Island and also a driver when we left Pemuteran. Our driver (Yomen?) was the best we have had in Bali.
Breakfast was also great, best pancakes 🥞.
Overall the accommodation was fabulous value for money.
Everything was amazing! Bagi and Ibu, thank you so much for everything. We couldn't wish for more. 1000% sure that we will come back! 🧡
The room, the garden, the staff, the service and the never ending smiles. You made our stay in Pemuteran unforgetable.

We absolutely love this hotel, after doing mount bromo and mount ejin this was the perfect place to stop for a few days to relax. The room was big, the bed was comfy and the outdoor bathroom was lovely. The pool was also great. There are many restaurants nearby too🥰
Next to the turtle reservation. So don’t forget to go feed them at 430 pm. The food at the restaurant is all right, but there’s no other good restaurant nearby so got no choice. The beach area is nice.
Host family is so wonderful- they helped us arrange dives, in room massages, laundry, etc. Close to bioreef and the best Warung on Bali- Setia!
Pool so nice also.
Very quiet place. Rooms are located along a nice swimming pool. Good restaurant. The hotel is coupled with a diving/snorkeling company that organizes trips around
Only 15 minutes to snorkeling port. Mandiri ATM is only a couple of walks to the left of the Hotel. Mini Market is cross the hotel with the Restaurant as well.
