Limenaria is a terribly crowded locality. I recommend it to those who do not go on vacation for rest. If you have a week off and you want to enjoy the sea, but also to rest after a whole year of work, Limenaria is not what you need.

The ancient village in the hills nearby was incredible. Ancient stone houses (many being restored) and church were amazing. The view from there is breathtaking but the drive in is not for the faint hearted. We were really pleased to have local residents lead us up there. Small town in the south of Thassos with plenty of tavernas and bars by the beach, I could advice the Navagio bar on the beach at night for wonderful cocktails and scenery. Busy town at times but generally quiet, more family oriented. Mainly Balkan and Greek tourism. Great place in the south, which has the nicest beaches, with sea amenities to use a base to visit this wonderful underrated island. There was a fridge in our room which gave bad smell, we said to house keeper and in the same day it is changed. George takes his notes and he is interested in everything. Thank you for all. The kitchen was fully provided and the garden was very nice to relax under the stars at night right next to Limenaria tow centre and some of the greatest beaches, very well recommended accommodation!
