Nice town that will bring you back in time some 30-40 years ago with its arhitectural solutions or even further back with its old core of narrow streets and small craft shops. It is easy to go arround - lot of one way streets and mopeds

I had no expectations from a place I have never been and have heard very little about Komotini. I was pleasantly surprised. A vibrant downtown with lots of cafes, eateries, shopping all reasonably priced and good quality.

I had the chance to visit family and to see a very nice town...
I had the chance to visit family and to see a very nice town. I enjoyed the view of the mountains that border Bulgaria, the pedestrian malls, the beautiful murals, the architecture, the churches and the mosques that are so much a part of Komotini. Worth a stop for a few days even if you don't know anyone in this town.

It is located right beside the central square and the host is very responsive and accommodating if you need any advice in regards to your stay! The apartment itself is newly renovated, spotless clean and has everything you need (coffee machine, washing machine, plenty of storage space etc). The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the city and right next to the main square. The staff are amazing, friendly, genuine and very accommodating. Even sharing with us information about the history of the region. If you need any help they are always there. From ordering a taxi, to helping us to extend our stay in the hotel for an extra night. We would not hesitate to stay again.
