As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Don't miss out on sipping fresh, local orange juice or enjoying tasty tapas in a sidewalk café.
Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.
The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.
Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75,000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.
As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city center hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also has guesthouses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.

We love Valencia as had two properties there but sadly sold as needed money in U.K. after Brexit. It’s still fantastic value for money and we love the food (Menu del Dia and tapas) and do speak a bit of Spanish. It’s a shame that the shops like LV , Ferragamo, Hermes etc have all gone it’s a sign of the times . But for sight seeing and beaches (try Mas Bonita) great, Best hotel Las Arenas (try the turbot) and Neptuno good. Only You hotel great for central city trendy with buzz but ordinary double room not big enough.

Lovely place great activities and surroundings. I ate at the Nero hotel which was very good . The only bad experience I had was at the Restaurant Novomar on the promenade. The waiter tricked me by chargin g me twice once with card which he said didn't work and then by cash.
I contacted the property but got no reply.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful, the restaurant at the hotel was good the breakfast was good and you could ask for freshly cooked. The surrounding restaurants were also very good and the beach was lovely although not hot enough in Feb to sit on. Would definitely recommend this hotel and area. Valencia is a beautiful human scale city.
Valencia is a beautiful human scale city. Very friendly and relaxing. We stayed in April and there were short queues for the cathedral but everything else was easy and quick to get into. We had 5 days there and still could have stayed longer to venture out to the biopark or other regions of the city. I recommend staying in or close to the old city so most of what you want is walkable. Regular buses take you around, including to the beach. Taxis are constantly on the high streets which can be flagged down and are reasonably priced.
We loved the location right on the beach. The staff were very firendly and helpful. The apartment had its own entrance separate from the hotel and was quiet altogether. There was a lift which was great use. The apartment was spacious for 3 adults with great utilities: fridge freezer, washing machine-dryer, and coffee machine we used. There was also a dishwasher. Plus TV
The location really made it for us- also close to a local food shop, the bus and tram stops, and restaurants along the beach. Couldn't be better for what we wanted!
Location is 5 star, I used the local transportation only to go to the beach and airport, otherwise everything is max 20 min walk. Many restaurant and facilities are just at the corner of the hotel. Staff are super nice, helpful and available 24/7. Breakfast is minimal but okay. This hotel was one of the cheapest in the Valencia center for a solo traveler and it is good they offer "low cost" option. The pipe noise is something I expected from the previous comments so that was okay for me and did not disturb.
I was living my best beach life! This is a really nice apartment. It is right on the beach and the terrace the perfect place to relax and think about things or get some work done (the WIFI was great). The host was full of tips, jokes and information she even has binoculars so you can people watch down below! The apartment was extremely clean the whole time I was there. The bedroom was also very nice, the bed was one of the coziest in Spain. It’s such a cute little vacation town I hope to go again one day!
The location was perfect. The apartment was super clean and quiet. All beds and appliances and furnishings were newer. There were ample supplies for the kitchen and bathroom (which often is missing at rentals). The laundry facilities were a savior for a family traveling as light as we were. Alex and the staff were very responsive and helpful with restaurant and site recommendations. Overall, our favorite place to stay in Spain across 4 cities visited.
Hotel Kramer thought of everything including a toothbrush. They had an on-site restaurant and the best breakfast we’ve had in Spain. The staff were friendly, and met requests within seconds including printing train tickets, and arranging an early morning cab. The staff spoke excellent English which was welcome( 3 months of Duo Lingo has its limits). The location was within walking distance of the Old City and all the sights we wanted to see
We love this place. Our favorite family hotel and we are in Valencia all the time. So if we can we always stay here and we stayed here probably like 50 times at least so far. Love that breakfast is included, hot chocolate or coffee at any time for free, Saler is only like 1 km away what is a beautiful walk and there is our favorite area where we spend msot time too City of Arts and Science. Also there is McDonald's across the street.
This is a lovely hotel in a great location, right on the beach and close to the city centre. We only stayed one night before joining a cruise, but the room was great and the staff were super welcoming and friendly, they all spoke perfect english. We ate in the hotel restuarant in the evening and our meal was excellent, cannot fault this place and will definitely return!
Comfortable room with balcony and sea view. As a solo traveller I felt safe in the area around the hotel. Breakfast was included, served in the cafe/restaurant next door - gorgeous decor and lovely food. Lovely hotel with roof terrace situated right on the beach front, with plenty of travel options into the city. I'd definitely recommend staying.
Easy from the airport- a standard 20 euros for a taxi. Location- Fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. 10 mins walk from everything. Staff were great and the hotel was really cool. An old building revamped into a boutique hotel. Right outside the door is a great cafe - Bombay. Open from 8 till 5;30. Great breakfasts and cheap
Proximity to the beach - the hotel is basically on the beach and the restaurant has a great view. The breakfast was nice too (especially fresh squeezed juices), although a bit small. The staff was nice and helpful and the hotel is beautifully designed and clean. Also the water pressure in the shower was very good
This was one of our best stays in Spain! We were so warmly welcomed by reception, and the welcome note and snacks were so wonderful. The special toiletries for children was a very nice touch. We loved our room. The location is perfect, so close to everything and so charming.
Breakfast good! The beach side terras is great, the other terras is not good enough ..~Unbeliveble you do not have beds on the beach, I now it's public but have a good amount of beds for the hotel guest and rent the other amount to public guest for a lot of money.
Bernardo is a wonderful person. We had a language barrier, but he made us feel welcomed, and made sure we had everything we needed. We traveled around Spain, and this was my favorite place to stay. We felt right at home, and the apartment was BEAUTIFUL!
The front staff person said breakfast was included during my stay, tbh i couldn't remember if i paid for it in advance. I ended up paying for 2 breakfasts for one morning. It was decent, but nothing like the other hotels I've been to in Spain thus far.
Nice place if you are looking for a cheap stay for a couple. It's not out-of-town and the nearest metro station is quite close to it. The hotel is placed above a nice bakery which serves fine breakfasts. The towels were changed daily.
What a fab location on the beach! We had excellent advice from the wonderful hotel staff about getting the bus into the city and we loved this experience. The breakfast was great value and served in a lovely setting.
After a very long drive....3 weeks staying in different areas of Spain was great to be greeted by Rodrigo at the front desk, very professional and knowledgeable about the area, and recommendations.
