We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were all wonderful and suggested some good spots for meals. The room was comfortable and the showers hot. Very good selection of hot and cold foods for breakfast. I loved the little sausages and struedal.

Breakfast buffet is very good. Our room faced the river and was above restaurant and square so a little loud. With no AC we had to have the window/door open.

Hotel Germania, hotel in Cochem

Hotel Germania in Cochem offers free Wi-Fi, a daily breakfast buffet. It lies on the banks of the Moselle River, just 1969 feet from Cochem Train Station.

Nice hotel in a good location and a wine shop at the basement (open until 18:00). Our room was nice, however the "double bed" was actually 2 separate beds aside each other which was inconvenient. We parked at a site about 10 minutes walk for euro 10 which was OK.

Simply a wonderful and cozy city. You can enjoy shopping and great restaurants. Best of all, you get breathtaking views of this part of Mosel wine country. Cochem Castle is truly worth the trip. You're taken back to a time of great architecture, kings, and queens. Vineyards adorn the hillsides.

My family and I were eager to explore Cochen and booked an apartment for our stay. From the moment we arrived, we realized the apartment lived up to all our expectations and what was promised in the description. We were greeted with a spotlessly clean and tidy place, which made us feel comfortable right away. What really stood out was the exceptional attention we received from the owners. They were attentive to any needs we had and made us feel at home. Finding a place like this not only met but exceeded our expectations and brought us great joy during our stay. We are sure to return as soon as possible. This apartment has become our favorite place to stay in Cochen.

Cochem is a great place to visit.

Cochem is a great place to visit. Take the river cruise through the lock for 3 hour tour you won't regret it. The castle tour is nice thing to do. Take the bus up to castle because walking up hills is not worth the few Euros it costs for the bus. Great food choices.

All the write ups for the town seemed interesting & a location near the river. Parking was consistently a problem in most areas and restaurant food was average at best. Went to a lovely restaurant, 8k away in Belstrain & both food & wine recommended were exceptional. Used our car for transportation. There was a local bus station & train within town limits, so car wasn't necessary here. Seemed to have a # of stores for tourist items but not much else.Lots of cyclists

No manned reception after 6pm but this was communicated clearly and in a very friendly manner in advance. Clear instructions received in advance about how to retrieve key for car parking and key for room. All worked out as described without fault upon arrival at 7pm. Comfortable and quiet room. We stayed at the Hotel for one night as a stop on our way further south. Super friendly and Professional staff! Clean and comfortable rooms! The breakfast was good, the local jam delicious and simply amazing service to be asked what kind of eggs we would like! There is free parking on the premises as well. It takes approximately 10 - 20 minutes to walk to town, depending how fast you walk, however it is a very nice pedestrian path along the Mosel

Loved this property! Excellent included breakfast with table overlooking the castle. We had bought champagne at a local wine tasting - hotel lets you access the breakfast room at night. We celebrated our sons proposal to fiancée that night with their glasses and our champagne. (They do have a fridge full of wines we could have purchased from them). Rooms were comfy enough. Bathrooms a bit tired but very clean.

This location is right on the town square and very convenient. The bar on the first level was no problem at all and ended up being the most comfortable beds of our trip. The hotel was a little hard to find as the door is pretty subtly tucked next to the bar. However, it was a smooth self check-in process and ultimately a very comfortable stay.
