A great experience. I couldn't find fault with anything. The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming and you could tell everyone was enjoying their stay. The good value breakfasts and very reasonable prices on foods etc was a real bonus.
This hotel is located in the heart of the Wicklow Mountain National Park in the village of Laragh, 0.6 mi from the 6th-century monastic city of Glendalough.

Very nice inn in quiet little town just off M11 motorway near Wicklow. We stayed there so we would not have a long drive to Dublin airport in the morning. Fish and chip dinner in restaurant was outstanding and the breakfast in the morning had many options, be sure to try the porridge.

Exceptionally kind reception, Manager (Mazzen) went above and beyond to accommodate me. I went to hike for 3 days in Glendalough Park and it was amazing.

Kevin was the soundest man and made our stay very comfortable. He left loads of fire wood out, gave us red wine and we spent the night gazing at the stars. We made great use of the BBQ for breakfast. The set up is so cosy and warm. We woke up both mornings forgetting we were glamping. Most comfortable bed!! We went to the alpaca trail, Wicklow wolf brewery, devil's glen, glendalough mountains, great sugar loaf. Will definitely be returning as there is so much to see in Wicklow.

Everything about the stay was wonderful. Yep the scones were beautifully homemade as was the wonderful breakfast. We even enjoyed a ride to and from the local pub. Out of the park hospitality. Highly recommended if in the vicinity!

Wonderful host in great location, about a 40 min walk through the beautiful first trail (well-paved) to the ruins of Glendalough Cathedral. Lovely accommodations- my room had the most beautiful skylight w a blind. Windows open for a comfortable night’s sleep in this quiet village

A very small and cozy town with good pubs, markets, and restaurants. The Chinese restaurant is the best one. I love the hot sour soup. They also have amazing natural parks around, all only 10min driving, fresh air, and a chill vibe.

The Old Cowshed is a 5 Star property with hosts that go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud! It is very spacious and clean. Much more spacious than you can see in the pictures. The location was perfect for old and young.

We spent 2 days in wicklow staying in Roundwood for 2 nights. We like to walk and enjoyed a lovely 8km walk around the lake on Monday. We also drove to Powerscourt Waterfall. a short trip well worth taking. A visit to Powerscourt House and gardens are also a treat.

I loved the location, the breakfast, the views.
I loved the location, the breakfast, the views. I disliked the lack of information, no bedside proper reading lamp and the non adherence to quiet time. On balance I would definitely recommend Lus Mor - it is gorgeous compared to other places to stay - but if you are going to sell alcohol then have nice wines to sell et al - and most definitely impose the quiet time. The people are lovely there, the food is fantastic, and the views are second to none I Co. Wicklow - a few tweaks and Lus Mor could be a mixture of dorm, single rooms, and quirky boutiqueyy hotel !
