Margaret was a wonderful host. She welcomed us warmly giving us tips for how best to get into town on foot and showed us around the house. Our room with a super comfy kingsized bed was wonderful. Breakfast was very good w/breads and fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals. All exactly what we were hoping for using Kenmare as a 2 night stop to visit Killarney Nat'l Park and its environs.

Kenmare is a charming, small Irish town. We loved walking through the streets with many shops, pubs and restaurants. Both Holy Cross and St. Patrick's churches are worth a visit.
Kenmare is a perfect base for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting Killarney National Park.
We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Great base for both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.
Great base for both the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara. Many restaurants but several were fully booked. Live music in a few even on weeknights. Free parking and toilets across from the church.
Everything about this stay was perfect.
Bernadette and her husband were extremely welcoming and gave us a lot of information and tips about getting around Ireland and Kenmare.
The cottage is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable! It’s full of little details that make all the difference. It is also only a quick walk into the town centre.
Our hosts were very accommodating of our dietary requirements and went above and beyond to provide a delicious vegan breakfast which was served in a beautiful conservatory.
We both loved this stay!
The hotel is located right downtown which is why we selected it. I found it somewhat pricy but with the addition of parking and the location, it was worth it for us. The beds were very comfortable and the room very nice. The breakfast (additional charge) was excellent and the young gentleman who served us both mornings (I'm sorry we didn't get his name) was so nice and remembered what we had ordered the previous morning. They have a lovely lounge/bar area also. Overall, an excellent hotel.
Wonderful owner and beautiful home. We were able to walk to town and had an incredible time in the pubs/restaurant, listening to local musicians on her recommendations. Breakfast was delicious! The rooms were comfortable, and she was friendly, helpful, and an absolute delight! We would definitely stay here again. We were only there for a night, and we wish we would have stayed a 2nd! We absolutely recommend both Kenmare and this cozy friendly accommodation!
The location was superb.
Less than a five minute walk from the town centre.
The Creamy Cottage is spotlessly clean and very well equipped.
The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of clean, fresh towels.
We parked our car safely at the side of the house.
Kenmare itself is a lovely little town, consisting of two main streets with plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes
Overall, myself, my wife and our two sons had a very satisfying short break.
The Park Hotel is a fantastic retreat for a short getaway with delicious food, a relaxing spa, piano lounge, golf, and beautiful walks around the grounds of this historic hotel.
A special mention for the staff who were courteous and friendly but never overwhelming. Free tea and carrot cake in the afternoon, exactly the tonic after a long walk.
We also had a free electric charge point at our disposal, so the little things really do help!
Bridge Street Townhouse is a treasure trove of style, warmth, charm, run by the incomparable host/owner Lucy O'Sullivan. Lucy alone would be enough to make the stay memorable, but add in - the exceptional breakfast with produce from the family farm and the all day home made cakes, the experience becomes unforgettable.
Lucy is also on hand with invaluable local knowledge which makes the stay in Kenmare more unique.
Stay here if you can.
The hostess, Patricia, is a delight. She is totally focused on the guest satisfaction aspect and is energetic and friendly/helpful. The breakfasts were personalized and delicious. It is a 10 minute walk to Kenmare downtown and restaurants. The home is updated to modern standards yet maintains it's charm. Parking was easy for us. After a month on the road this was a top level experience.
The property is located within 5 min walking distance from the center of the town of Kenmare. The room had a very nice view over the well taken care of garden. The host is very welcoming, friendly and nice. She gave us good tips about landscapes in the area and places to have good food. The internal design was very nice and everything was neat.
We received a lovely welcome to this typical Irish farmhouse, which is in a wonderful location, just a short walk from Kenmare town centre. The shower was excellent, bed comfortable, and the breakfast was exactly what we needed before a day of exploring. It was a very laid-back place to stay and we'd highly recommend it.
Location was perfect! Right in the center of downtown Kenmare. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was right above the pub, but we heard no noise at all from below. The bed was very comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends
Really comfortable hotel just 5 mins walk from the town centre via a footpath that avoids the main road - ask at reception as it isn’t obvious. Excellent breakfast choices. In addition to the buffet you can order from the menu for delicious freshly cooked breakfast items.
A fabulous welcoming establishment located in the heart of Kenmare. Great food for dinner then just walk upstairs to your room. Street parking was available. Breakfast was yummy with lots of options. Staff very friendly. Very walkable town.
The location was in the heart of Kenmare. It's a great town to wander around, and a great place to base your exploration around the Ring of Kerry, Ring of Beara, and Killarney National Park.
They also had really good food and live music!
The hotel is right in the middle of the town centre with a great street vibe, the staff were great, the evening entertainment was fantastic and the breakfast was very good, we would highly recommend a visit.
Location was amazing, only 2 min drive into Kenmare Town.
Breakfast was unreal, so much to choose from and freshly made and delicious
Honestly BEST B&B I've ever stayed in, better than some hotels
Right in downtown Kenmare, walking distance to church, had a kitchenette with glassware, fridge, coffee pot and a spacious bathroom. Water pressure was unbelievable and hot water was immediate.
Downtown Kenmare was just a short walk from the B&B which was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious and was made to order (including many options like eggs, pancakes, cereals, etc)
Margaret was the most lovely host, who also makes the best lemon cake and soda bread. Location excellent for walking or driving to Kenmare town. Very comfortable beds!
