We had a great stay in a remote location, exactly what we were looking for. The room was really spacious, extremely tidy and the bathroom had a bathtub (together with shower) and a lot of space, too. Of course, lovely breakfast with multiple options to choose from :) thank you for a warm welcome and all nice touches (tea, coffee, water, milk and etc.)

Foxford is a bustling little town that is bustling with shops and places to see. The people are friendly even amid this Covid pandemic! There is a holiday atmosphere here and the Foxford Woollen Mills and Cafe is something everyone should experience. The best B & B ever! is the Grey Gate Lodge just a couple of minutes outside of the town, the Glasshouse Hotel is a perfect spot to be situated right in the heart of Foxford.

An excellent town but unfortunately many of the pubs have closed leading to a less than vibrant night scene.
That said, a really great place to visit.
Great fishing and walking, the mill is well worth a visit if only for a coffee and some excellent dessert.
Don’t forget to pick up some local jam and Sligo honey.
It is a home from home, everything you could want for a relaxing holiday, the location is great as a base for touring the West/Mid Ireland.
The loft is very spacious and comfy, also we loved the food items left for us.
It is in a beautiful spot overlooking fields and forest yet lovely Foxfords pubs, shops etc is within walking.
Very well equipped kitchen with everything you want for a few days or weeks.
We loved it and will be back.
Suzette is fab and very welcoming, we didnt meet John this time.
A huge loft apartment with two comfortable bedrooms and great facilities. Lovely quiet location (just the sound of some cows!) and only a 10 minute walk into Foxford town centre. The eggs, bread, butter, milk etc provided were much appreciated - as were the yummy treats! Lovely host who was great at communicating prior to and during stay. The apartment was excellent
Peaceful stay in Foxford
We spent two nights here and couldn't ask for anything better.
The guesthouse was very clean, calm, and gives a cozy atmosphere. Perfect location just a few minutes walking from the town center.
Special mention to the owner Gerry who is a welcoming, funny, and lovely person.
We recommend this place if you travel to this area in Ireland
The Stables is ideally located to use as a base to explore the surrounding areas, e.g. Foxford, Swinford and Ballina. The host was very friendly and the accommodation itself was a pleasure to stay in. This is a very popular destination for fishing so we would recommend booking way in advance!
Fabulous cottage, clean, cosy and fully equipped with everything guests could need. Great location within walking distance of Foxford town centre with stunning scenery and places of interest nearby. Accommodation was delightful and would highly recommend the accommodation.
beautiful setting. comfortable. lovely little touches like foxford blankets on chairs. very thoughtful treats for children and family left. These little things do make a difference. Have already recommended to family and friends.
