Spacious Junior suite with fantastic view of the bay and to see sunsets. Joe was extremely helpful with recommendations, including Mahon Falls. It was not on our original agenda but we are very glad we went. Breakfast was excellent including fruit. Bed was comfortable and there was a sofa in the room. Very quiet. Includes parking.

We were warmly welcomed into the house and greeted with a fantastic array of cake, fruit and biscuits in the kitchen. The cupboards had the key condiments and oils already stocked, meaning that we only had to shop for the basic ingredients. The house is spacious and comfortable, and Brian was the perfect host, swiftly sorting out any minor issues. The location is perfect for visiting Waterford, New Ross or Cork and it is only a 5-10 minute walk into Dungarvan, which has good shopping and restaurants.
Very pleasent surprise in the center of dungarvan. The front room was cozy with TV, table/chairs, sink, fridge (with bottled water and large bowl of creamer) , and kettle with plenty tea and coffee.
The bed room was very spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and a 50/60 in TV that had net flix. WiFi was effortless. Had a great night sleep. The bathroom riviled and upscale hotel. This place is a hidden gem with every shop and amenity in dungarvan just outside the front door.. 😊
The location is excellent near the town and the bus stop to get to cork. Dungarvan is beautiful! The rooms are dated but comfy. Main areas of hotel are a little grubby in places but tastefully decorated. Some of the chill out areas are super cosy. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. I loved the Irish soda bread! We ate once in the bar area food was ok. Nice bar area with big tv.
The staff could not have been nicer, especially Mary, who checked us in.
The location is perfect for walking into Dungarvan, which has a great city center.
The pool looked very nice, but I didn't pack a bathing suit for Ireland!
We rented bikes from Garvan, who outfits you right there at the hotel and sends you off on the Greenway (rails to trails in the US) for a wonderful day on bikes.
Beautifully kept large house in a quiet suburb not far from the town centre of Dungarvan. The house is well stocked with amenities from the bathrooms, a basics in the fridge (and a complimentary apple tart from our host!) and facilities for washing and drying clothes. Overall loved it, huge bedrooms with comfy beds!
Would recommend, ideal for a family or group of friends!
An excellent location in the centre of Dungarvan, close to the main square and sea front. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well furnished. Despite the very central location we were not disturbed by any noise as the bedroom is to the back of the living area. John was very helpful and accommodating.
Alistair and Catherine are very friendly and gave us great tips on area attractions. On their recommendation we visited the copper coast...which we hadn't planned on. Best part of the trip! Thank you so much for making our visit to Waterford a memorable one. We'll definitely visit Follies again.
The staff of the hotel. Declan the manager went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable and all the bar staff were very accomodating. The breakfast was fresh and hot and the location to Dungarvan centre is ony a 5 min walk.
Breakfast was lovely! Little bit of everything. Bread was tasty and fresh, and cereals provided.
Just an 8 min walk into the centre of Dungarvan. It was also located directly beside the Waterford Greenway, which I found ideal.
Warm welcome. Nice property in beautiful surroundings. We had to leave very early and Maureen was so kind to prepare a breakfast for us which we could take away when we left. Also we got some good advice for dining in Dungarvan.
Definitely one of my favourite places to stay in Dungarvan! I'll have to make sure I book here next time I come to visit family in Ireland 🇮🇪 Beautiful part of town, close walk to all shops, cafés and pubs.
The building was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and in a nice location. Check in and check out was easy and seamless. We liked having a kitchenette in our room and the view of the castle from our window.
Lovely and quiet room in front of the ocean.
Catherine provided a very warm welcome and the breakfast was amazing!
Best Irish scones I have ever tried.
Few minutes by car to Dungarvan. Worth visit!
Room was beautiful and spotless. V comfy bed, better than any hotel bed I've stayed in. Service was great and we had a fabulous breakfast in The Tannery
Amazing breakfast, the bed was very comfortable, Catherine the host was very kind and welcoming, will definitely stay here again if coming to Dungarvan
