We have stayed here a couple of times before and always enjoyed it. We stayed in room 110. The rooms are nice, clean, but very warm, there is a fan provided which did go a little to helping. Kettle provided.
This time we were very pleased to find that you could book secure private parking on the hotel premises for 7 euros a day which was easily accessed and quality because of the parking in Obernai itself. Also bonus market on the Ramparts behind the hotel on Thursday morning.
My only criticism was the breakfast. The bread and croisants were dry and hard, the choice of ham and cheese was minimal. I'm afraid this did not seem the quality of previous years for the amount paid.
Despite this I would recommend this hotel to other travellers especially for the location in the centre of the town.

We had a room designed for someone with a disability.
We had a room designed for someone with a disability. It had wheelchair access although we didn’t use it. The shower/wet room was well designed for the disabled. It had a high rise toilet !! Access to the room/suite was by lift. It couldn’t have been more comfortable and accessible. Great wine and picturesque buildings . Drawback with wheelchair is the cobbled streets but choosing route carefully can obviate this!

Colmar is the best known town in Alsace but Obernai is better! Driving there is a challenge because of the one-way system but there is plenty of parking and the old town needs to be explored on foot. There is an extensive selection of tea shops and restaurants in the old town.

Obernai is a lovely small city encircled by an ancient city wall. It has great craft stores and restaurants. It also is at the foothills of Mt St Odile, a fabulous place to visit and hike in the surrounding forests.
this apartment is tucked in a quiet street in the middle of the cute town, just 30 seconds away from restaurants and bakeries. Fabien is an amazing and personable host and met us during check-in and check-out, gave us recommendations of what to see and what to eat. We had read reviews of his hospitality and the praise is all true. the apartment itself is comfortable, well-decorated, and clean! we were sad to leave but will definitely stay here again if we come back to Obernai.
The accommodation was in the center, within walking distance you have very nice shops, such as a bakery, pastry chef, gift shop, information desk, nice eateries, and easily accessible for traveling to Strasbourg or Colmar. Very sweet, nice people in the center of Obernai. It was a wonderful stay! Marie Julie provided all the necessary information before we arrived. She was quick to respond to our messages. Thank you very much. We will definitely come back again!
Best property that we ever stayed. This is a gem. The house with is beautiful and inviting, the views unbelievable, the bed most comfortable ever, spacious.
A generous breakfast, coffee and tea always around and even wine. A kitchen to prepare food if you wish The host attentive, helpful. Congratulations to the owner for hosting so nice and a beautiful decor!!! close to Obernai a beautiful Alsace town
Nice base to visit around Better if you have a car
Beautifully furnished apartment equipped with everything we needed.
The secure garage for our car and e-bikes with a charging point made for a stress free bike trip.
Easy walking distance to the lovely old town of Obernai with its shops and restaurants with plenty of choice for outside eating.
South facing balcony with a canopy for shade was a real bonus too.
Cathie was very welcoming and made sure we had a good stay.
Location is excellent, everything is right in the centre and free public parking is nearby. We dropped our bags in front of the property and took the car to the parking lot. Do read instructions carefully, look for the owner’s name on the door. The apartment is on the 2nd floor as we all know, there is no lift and 2nd floor mean 3 flights up. From Obernai, you can easily drive to Barr and Mt St Odile, recommended.
This is our main choice for the Obernai region. This hotel is consistently great, charming, and its outstanding location remains unbeatable. Also, the cozy breakfast room always comes thru with authentic delicious treats local Alsace. It is not about quantity, it's about the superb quality and freshness of the breads, fruit, jams, cheeses and cold cuts. Can't go wrong.
The location of the hotel is right in the heart of everything and the staff was nice and basically easy to deal with. We only had breakfast there but it was very nice, too! The lady at the front desk, I believe she and her family live in the hotel, was extremely helpful and always smiling - she was amazing. She was definitely on top of things.
The building and grounds are well maintained. The hotel’s spa is nice and the additional cost spa was very impressive. We went during the week on the off season and it was not too busy. Food was fantastic. Breakfast was amazing. Loved the bar for late night drinks and snacks. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Big bonus is the very central location, 5 min walk to the center of the city. One more benefit is free parking
The staff we saw is a pair man and woman, looking like hotel's owners. The usual problem is English, in most hotel it is, but they try to help. The room is very simple.
The hotel is very centrally located and the rooms we had were big, we had 302 and 303 on the corner. Good for my teenage daughter, as there was a concert in the square in front of our window, but not sure how other guest would find that. Nice view, literally in the square.
Great location at the edge of the old center of the city. The apartment is very cute and modern inside. The spaces are efficiently organized and well equipped. Short walks to bakery, train station, and downtown dining street.
Incredible view, very friendly and flexible serve - we only arrived at 1.30 am, but they were still very friendly and let us in with a smile! Very nice breakfast with a view from the terras on the Obernai environment.
Nice hotel in a convenient location. Lovely courtyard and excellent breakfast. Easy and free parking nearby. Obernai is a beautiful town and one of the best places to stay in Alsace.
