We were in Terracina the last two weeks of June. We experienced a local feel with few tourists. the old town is fantastic. We rented electric bikes, which is recommended. Then you can get around easily. A trip up to the temple went like a dream in the heat. We also cycled out to the Cantina Sant'Andrea winery. It took approx. one hour one way. A wonderful trip and a great visit where we tasted many good wines.
One should also enter a trip to Ponza. The ferry departs from the city centre. An incredibly cozy island. We chose to rent a boat when we were out there, so that we could take a trip to the outside of the island and swim in the crystal clear water. It was magical! We only took a day trip, but we should have included an overnight stay at Ponza.

I happened there by chance during the Festa of the Madonna...
I happened there by chance during the Festa of the Madonna del Carmine, who is the protector of sailors. The streets were lit up and there was a huge firework display, all along the seafront and culminating at the Port. Lots of free entertainment in the streets, together with market stalls and the usual paraphernalia surrounding local festas.
There are lots of new bars, artisanal alehouses and eateries everywhere, for every taste, particularly lovers of seafood.

Good beach holiday with plenty of bars & restaurants,...
Good beach holiday with plenty of bars & restaurants, pizzerias & ice cream places. Historic old town on the hill with part of Appian Way well worth a visit. Few foreign tourists but popular with Italians. Not much in evening entertainment; long promenade for walks. Long beach with a few small free parts; otherwise you pay around 15 euros per day.
If you don't have a car, you can take the train from Rome or Naples but need to get public transport from Monte San Biagio, with summer shuttle bus available. (There is a bus from Rome but not from central Rome).
The owners were so incredibly friendly and helpful. He even gave my friend and I a ride to the monastery ruins. The apartment was such a pleasure to stay in. Very clean and updated feel. I decided to stay in for the night there and had a blast dancing to music on the youtube feature on the TV. Coffee machine worked like a charm, very tasty. The proximity on foot to the beach and other restaurants and stores was good. This is my favorite room I stayed in my month long trip in Italy. Thank you!
A very nice apartment and an incredibly nice host. Martino was very hospitable and helpful. We were greeted with welcome wine and some sweet biscuits, which suited hot and thirsty guests well :)
The apartment maintains a very high standard and is only 5 minutes from the beach.
Convenient with a good local restaurant in the neighborhood.
A good tip is to rent electric bicycles for the entire stay, because it is quite a distance to walk into the city centre.
The apartment is located on the top level of an old building and is beautifully designed with much attention to details. The location in the historic center of Terracina was terrific, it is still close to everything and you have a breathtaking view over the town to the sea the and even Monte Circeo.
It's a modern design apartment , very comfortable for visiting the beach, seeing a beautiful sunset in the boardwalk and going uphill to the old town by foot.
It has two queen beds and a couch. The kitchen is very complete. Restaurants and stores a block away.
The staff were wonderful, very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options set out, from eggs to pastries to cereal. The beach was beautiful, right outside outside our door, we could hear the waves from our room, just lovely.
The location is amazing! A 5 minute walk to both the public and private beaches and in the heart of town. Close to cafes and restaurants. The host is very kind and helpful. The apartment was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well!
Great location - very close to the beach and Promenade. Plenty of restaurants close by. Lively area. I booked the apartment at last minute but they prepared the apartment really fast. The apartment itself was beautiful and spacious.
it was clean and the staff were very helpful.
it is an excellent location.
