The staff were the nicest people we’ve met on our trip. They went above and beyond to help us out. We were so sad to leave at check out.

Absolute perfection: the location, the facilities, the room and quality of it, the food (best breakfast we had in a while at a hotel), the dinner, the staff - it was a bliss. We love hidden from crowds boutique hotels and this was one of our best stays ever. Thank you!!

Beautiful property and outstanding service. The bar/restaurant was very good and convenient for morning coffee or when we’d had a long day and wanted to stay on property.

I am filing a dispute on my charge against Booking.Com.
The only room available was far below on quality than the room we reserved.

The location near Radda and other towns was great. The view from the gardens was gorgeous. Our group had 2 apartments which were fully equipped...picnic tables outside.
It’s such a gorgeous area to explore. Lots of ancient villages, wineries and stunning scenery! I love Castello di Volpaia. This village has beautiful affordable rooms and apartments and a winery all within its walls. It’s small and unique with four great places to eat.

. Small compact village, with nice array of shops, noticeably helpful shop owners. Plenty of restaurants, particularly given the small village size. Close to rail (about 20 km) which makes it easy to get into Florence.
Close to places like San Giminiano and Siena.

Stefano the general manager was outstanding in his customer service- he even drove me to the town of Radda to shop & enjoy the sites - Dimitsia (not sure I’m spelling that correctly)but she was an angel & helped me in numerous ways- the head waiter & staff Andrea & Veronica were awesome every time I had dinner there - the breakfasts were quite varied and had both the bacon I adore & the yogurt & fruit I needed - it really was a sumptuous spread & Francesca & her crew were wonderful- just an all-Around fabulous place to hang your hat for a week or even a weekend!! Thanks to all of you for making my stay wonderful - many thanks!

Radda is a postcard village for the Chianti region perched on a hilltop with great views. We visited about 15 years ago, and it seems as though it has become ever more touristy and the entire town is one big tourist stop which lacks the authenticity that it may once have been. It's lovely, but almost too lovely and manufactured.

It’s a lovely place and we would return and stay longer.
It’s a lovely place and we would return and stay longer. Do need a car otherwise you have to pay more for taxi services as they’re not local. That said staff helped us get to our next location and were very transparent in costs of taxis.
We had a fabulous meal in town a short walk from the hotel. All people we met in shops and restaurants were lovely and welcoming. Do stay here you’ll love it.

Radda in Chianti is a very charming village on top of a hill. It has a pitoresk center and some lovely little shops, selling necessities but also artisanal products. The local restaurants have beautiful settings and great food.

Our stay in Guido’s La Locanda was a truly amazing experience. It is a very remote location, with fantastic views and a lot of nature around. It is ideal for relaxing escape from a busy city life. The atmosphere which you can enjoy during your stay is created by the best host we ever met - Guido. His charm brings people together, which allows you to make friendships with other interesting guest of the Locanda. It was one of our best travel experiences. Thank you Guido.
The hotel is beautiful - the scenery is gorgeous and there are so many lovely little secluded seating areas. The hotel never felt busy and it was easy to get time on our own. The pool was stunning - not heated but we needed to be refreshed. Lovely seating areas. A few people had complained about the insects but you are so close to nature that of course there will be some, but come prepared with bug spray.
Really beautiful property just above Radda in Chianti. Great base for exploring Chianti. Near a lot of wineries and good restaurants. We also had dinner at the hotel one night which was delicious. Along with the beautiful setting, there are only a few tables, so you get attention and super service through the whole meal.
It was a pretty hotel (old Tuscan village apartments/rooms) with lovely views from the hotel and the swimming pool. We were upgraded to a larger room on arrival.
One lady at reception was very helpful when we were trying to book a wine tasting and was patient when I attempted to speak a little Italian.
First and foremost: the service. The service is outstanding. Georgia and Gabrielle made sure we had all we needed and put their clients always in first place.
The Chef, without prior notice prepared an exceptional vegetarian dinner for us all.
The hotel is beautiful and surely recommend it.
This hotel is beautifully located in a small area of Radda Italy. we chose this location as a break from the busy area of Florence. The views were magnificent. The hotel was very comfortable and inviting, as was the staff. I will stay here again for sure!
Hotel was impeccably clean! Pool was clean and grounds lovely. Breakfast and after-hours social bar was wonderful. You are incredibly close to the beautiful town of Radda. Staff was superb, especially Arabella, Danielle, Gioia, Zaru, and Mohammad!
Very beautiful hotel. Very peacful and calming. The pool and spa are great. The staff is very nice and welcoming. There is free parking at the property. Breakfast was fine, a bit pricey for what you get (16 euro), but it was ok.
Loved our stay there. Charming hotel, very old vintage feeling rooms with updated bathrooms. Breakfast was fresh with many options. Beautiful views, lovely outdoor area. Cute shops and town right outside hotel.
Our stay was just perfect!! Guido is the most amazing host, breakfast is super nice, the rooms are big and super clean, the view from the hotel and the pool is just magic. Will come back here for sure!!
Il cibo era ottimo!
Excellent food, friendly staff, gorgeous panarama and strategically situated to be able to visit diverse places within no more than an hours drive! Definetly a 4 star hotel!
It's a hotel you like or not like. I liked it. It's in the heart of Chianti, a bit raw but at the same time elegant. We had good recommendations from reception to visit Volpaia and Bar Ucci.
Good location within walking distance from Radda in Chianti. Great views of the Tuscany landscape. Nice breakfast at the beautiful terrace. Clean room and bathroom.
The setting and staff at the resort were wonderful. Very charming and good location for visiting the region. Personalized stay and catered to every need.
