With a peaceful hilltop location, Hotel Urbano V is in Montefiascone overlooking Lake Bolsena. Once a noble residence, the hotel is one of the most historic buildings in the town.

It was on a very quiet road away from the town.
The people were super friendly and even fed us because it was too far for us to walk to town and the supermarket was closed.

Informative host, spacious property and the history of the property.
Montefiascone is a small town with a lot going for it.
Montefiascone is a small town with a lot going for it. It is rich with history and some of the streets take you back in time. It also has Lake Bolsena at its door which has opportunities to swim, boat and eat amazing pizza down by its shores. Everyone takes pride in what they do there, down to the restaurants and bike shops. It was everything you'd expect a charming little Italian village to be!

Montefiascone is a beautiful old town set on a hill with glorious views of Lake Bolsena. Rocca dei Papi has 360 degree stunning views, the Basilica of Santa Margherita and the crypt is well worth a visit and just strolling around the narrow cobbled streets is lovely.

We were there on a National holiday so lots of things were closed and the weather wasn't great however it was lovely to walk around the town it's quite small and easy to see in a short time. We had a fantastic meal in Dante's, it was full of locals and the staff were really friendly and very patient with our very limited Italian
My stay at Palazzo Frigo was marvelous beyond words. The location is perfect, overlooking the fountain in the main square. My room was beautiful, full of air and light. My favorite part of the hotel was the the rooftop terrace, which has a marvelous view of the lake and the town. Sitting up there at night looking at the stars and speaking about love and life was my favorite part of my entire trip to Italy. The hotel director, Alessandro, is especially kind, helpful and generous. I highly recommend you stay at this divine hotel!
I have walked many long trails in Italy over 25 years and this was one of the coolest places I have ever stayed. It is deep in the old town of Montefiascone, is very spacious and fully supplied. Yet it has real old world ambience in its many furnished rooms. The host was very welcoming, very generous and a good communicator.
This was a real step back in time, but with all the necessary modern conveniences. I hope to return as do my two travel companions.

The B&B was in a beautiful location just outside of Montefiascone. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Laura was an extremely generous host, and the breakfast that she offered was delicious. My friend and I cannot be more grateful to Laura and her husband, and we cannot fault the property. Thank you so much.
This bed and breakfast offers good value for money. The room was comfortable (good bed) and had airconditioning. The host was very friendly and Montefiascone is a nice, lively town. There are several good restaurants and the lake is a 15-minute drive. Orvieto is also worth visiting. All in all, a good location to discover the area
The staff was very accommodating to our needs as a family with young children. The room was very spacious, much bigger than the pictures showed. They were very helpful to return some items i forgot-thank you! There are a nice details to the hotel, pieces of art, and places to relax outside your room.
wifi was good
Wow what a place! It is huge with very interesting features. There’s a big surprise, see if you can find it. It will amaze you! We loved the location and the town of Montefiascone is beautiful and well worth a visit. The apartment is located within the old city. There is parking nearby. Try the Est Est wine!
Really exceptional room which overlooked the main square of Montefiascone. There was also a beautiful roof garden which overlooked the lake from where you could you could watch the sunset. There were cafes and restaurants very close at hand.
We would definitely stay again.
Great location walking distance from Montefiascone center and restaurants. Great garden where we had a drink in the evening. Fridge available on request was a plus. Great hostess and friendly dog. Highly recommend.
