Margherita di Savoia is nice in the northern part of the city with lovely restaurants and bars, as it is a tourist destination. Most of the beachfront is private and you are required to rent a sun-bed and umbrella but each place also has food and drink options. There are small areas of free public beach access. There was evident poverty there; we had adults with children begging for money whilst we were eating in restaurants, in their outdoor areas. Some of the promenade was run down; other bits were nice

The hotel is brand new and the owner with his family went out of their way to help make our stay most enjoyable. The two days we spent there we were pampered and I can only imagine how beautiful the place is in the summer when guests can also lounge by the pool and enjoy the outside bar. The beach is only 5 minute walk away and all the restaurants are just around the corner. This was definitely a 5 star experience!

Hotel is small but beyond expectations, clean, modern and in the middle of the city. They have a terrace that's a bonus. The hotel's private beach is far from the hotel(800m), but you can choose another one nearby. The private beach is Excellent, by the way. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is very good!!! Breakfast excellent!!
