Perfect location for Adams Peak. Food really nice and staff very kind and helpful. This is particularly good for those doing the climb. I have never been so looking forward to breakfast and a cup of tea in my life. Propriotor went out of his way to sort out accommodation for our driver, he didn't have to be so generous but was. Saw monkeys.

At the top of Adam's Peak it is quite cold and windy, you will be walking up and sweating. In order not to freeze at the top while you wait for dawn, I advise you to take extra dry clothes to change at the top (there is a toilet there), a windbreaker and a thermos with hot water. And don't forget the sunscreen, as soon as the sun comes out it won't spare you. This is an amazing place call mountain Malaya, where Guru Rinpoche gave Tantric Teachings in the Tibetan tradition for the first time on earth. And also the place of Dakinis. Glad that you will be there. Make a wish for the benefit of all sentient beings(you are one of them ;)) ! :)

What is quite nice is to climb up the Adams' Peak. The climb is good for those who like climbing and hiking.

We got to the top of Adam's peak to find a locked gate- very disappointing, as we couldn't get a view of the other side of the mountain! Apparently it is only open in season and I think this should be changed

This is a site every visitor to Sri Lanka should travel to. Which has historical, cultural value, hiking experience very difficult to find on most other tourist destinations. Can complete in one day (one night booking). Just about 4 hours travel from the capital, Colombo. All year cold temperature.

It's amazing area to travel.
It's amazing area to travel. Specially adam's peak is the most enjoyable hiking mountain with sri lankan traditional activities. All can enjoy with the mountain view and the waterfalls. There are lots of hotels and restaurants in that area with relevant prices.
My room was spacious and with an amazing balcony towards a garden behind which there is a river. At nights you hear all voices of nature. Rooms are clean and there is a wide big comfortable bed with an immense mosquito network. There is a kettle in a room, lovely designed mirror closet and even you have a hairdryer. The owner speaks perfect English and is very friendly and helpful. You can as well grab here a breakfast ( continental or Sri Lankan) as well as a traditional, delicious Sri Lanka meal.
We were not able to climb to Adam's Peak at our first time there due to heavy rain so when we backed to Sri Lanka we definitely knew where to stay next time at Adam's Peak. Owners of the hotel are very nice and friendly ppl. They tried to do their best we were satisfied with our stay. Breakfast was big and tasty. Room is also big and comfy. I like that owners organize walking trips around the area for tourists better to know what else is around Adam's Peak.
The room was clean and we got a upgrade. Additionally, it really is the nearest hotel to the Adams Peak - you just have to step out of the hotel and you’re directly on the path to the top! But what was the best at this location was the more than friendly staff! We got such a good welcome, an upgrade to another room, perfect food in the evening and morning and a pick up and drop off shuttle plus many informations!
The owner's wife made for us delisious dinner and breakfast. The owner got up at 2am to feed us, shared raincoats and lanterns. He was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel has 3 rooms, very well, we were just 3 couples.

Such a lovely guesthouse! The owner was so kind and willing to assist however he could! Made me a snack kit to take up Adams peak, and also made me the most delicious rice and curry I have had yet in Sri Lanka for dinner! Rooms are really nice and clean and the beds are amazingly comfortable! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to hike Adams peak!
Everything ! I 100% recommend!
The location is very nice and directly on the path to Adam’s peak.
The hosts are so nice, I had dinner (which was very good) and tea there. I went for a walk with the owner and they let me borrow an umbrella for them. Regarding what you get for the price, it was for sure the best hotel I’ve been to in Sri Lanka so far.
From the start, their welcome was excellent. Rooms are ver clean and nice. Also their foods, sweets and tea are very delicious. They treated us very very friendly. Garden also very attractive They have many beautiful flower beds. Specially, owner is very kind, friendly and can manage any situation. That was my ever experienced perfect stay.
Nice multi storey hotel with swimming pool, great view of the mountain Sri Pada/Adam's Peak and its surroundings from the terrace, Budget rate for the hotel, very kind and soft spoken hosts (but they speak Tamil and Singhalese mostly), location great eventhough low season, there is information board about Adam's Peak climb at the lobby.
We liked that the stay was near to our aim -Adams peak , the hike starts 400meters from our accomodation.
The owner was absolutely kind and informative. She was willing to pack us snack for o morning tour.
The accomodation has its own restaurant with very tasty cuisine.
Room was cosy, clean and finally has also hairdryer.
It‘s the perfect hotel to do a trip to the adam‘s peak. It‘s very near (about 100 meters) to the start of the way to the stairs up to a beautuful sunrise.
The room was very clean with a beautiful little balcony with some privacy. the bed was super comfortable.
daddy’s guest home was absolutely incredible and we would definitely stay again! it was clean, well lit and the beds were super comfortable. The food was also some of the best we have had in Sri Lanka. A lot of love and care put into the whole entire property.
The food was great and affordable, the host family was very accommodating and helpful. The father picked us up in a tuktuk from Hatton and stopped along the way to the hotel so we could take some photos of the tea plantations and Adam's Peak.
The staff was amazing and incredibly helpful with planning our stay around Adam's Peak. The breakfast was one, if not, the best breakfast we had over our entire trip in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend!
They didn't supply meals at all. Location of the place is ok. But rooms are in 2nd floor and very difficult to reach there.Because of the very narrow stair case and no hand railing to spport .
Absolutely the Best place we have stayd in Sri Lanka. Fantastic host family and wery, wery good food. The room is big and with the Best wiew ever. Thanks
