The location is beautiful, overall the vibe could be peaceful with few adjustments. The burmese management and staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and they were helpful with any problem I had. The South African owner was also very helpful when I had hurt my foot. It has an incredible sunset.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean, situated on the beach. The room was a good size, we had our own outdoor space with a hammock. Housekeeping service visit every 2 days. Glass bottles of water are provided daily - a great alternative to plastic, we were really pleased about this. The staff were helpful in organising a transfer to the pier upon request.

Srithanu is a lively but not overcrowded are with a plethor of restaurants and new age type shops. We loved most Mama Poohs which is a hidden and overlooked gem of a restaurant. Beautiful sitting, brilliant staff. A menu that you can have all day, so breakfast not restricted to mornings only. Owners very generous with their time and chatted to everyone, lovely family!!! Perfect setting, gardens are beautiful, on beach and for those of us who arnt sand lovers a pool and sun beds, no wonder people keep returning we visited different restaurants but always preferred sea flower. I even saw a tiny snake and some squirrels! My bungalow was amazing, it was clean, looked renovated and had a functioning AC. I also really liked my hammock outside where I laid when it rained for a bit. I loved that the beach was close by and you could reach boutiques, 7 eleven etc just outside the hotel. Can only recommend this place and will def come back here when I’m back on the island.

It’s in a quiet place, 2-3 min driving to Srithanu, there are two markets close to the place and a coffee shop across the street which serves really good coffee and breakfast. Maria, who’s in charge of the place, will take care that you have everything you need and she will respond in short time whenever you need something. I really felt in love with the place, especially the view from my dorm.

Possible to book tours, rent motorbikes, have your laundry done directly at the hotel, which is great. They also offer a tuk-tuk service that you can use twice a day to go to places nearby, which can be really useful if you don't want to rent a motorbike. Room is nice and big and cleaned everyday. All the staff was extremely nice and helpful. As a remote worker, Oasis bar next to one of the two swimming pools was a perfect place to sit down with my computer and do some work.
