Front clerk not nice. Requested non smoking room, but smelled if cigarettes. Very noisy both from guest and train close by. Advertised breakfast (eggs, sausage, toast, cereal etc.) but when we went to eat all that was available (thus was at 7:45am) one hard boiled egg, 3 little cheerios packs, and a trace of waffle batter. No scrambled eggs, juice machine was turned around and not available, no fruit…if you are going to advertise breakfast, you need to provide it. I would tell others to look at other hotels that are in the area before this one.

We were here for one night on our way home from a vacation to Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons. Great place to stop. The room was large, the bed comfortable, & the breakfast had several options. It was the perfect place to stay for our last night on the road.

We loved the Cowgirl museum (free!), Botanical gardens (free!), and Governor’s mansion (free!). Walking around downtown was nice and we had a delicious lunch from the truck, “Noam’s table” which is parked at the Depot ( felafel and other delicious and filling fare). Everyone at the museums was very helpful and friendly.

Cheyenne was great, a wonderful place to visit.
Cheyenne was great, a wonderful place to visit. We took the scenic ride
to the Medicine Bow national forest. What's not to like about
any place in Wyoming. We got pizza from Hambones Pizza which was
very good. Also, several selections from Panera were super. Frontier Mall was full of good stores.
We were assigned a room in Block 5, it was a beautiful room with a separate lounge area with comfortable seating. Bathroom was large and towels soft. We used the pool area for an hour which was good. This is more a country hotel with lots of wood panelling and oversize furniture in the main building but everything about it was just right. We liked it a lot, probably the best place we’ve stayed for the best money in 3 weeks on the road. Would have stayed longer if we could have.
No carpet in room, real blackout curtains. Fridge and microwave not in centre of room, off to the side by bathroom and in closed cabinet. Quiet. Very clean in room and hotel common areas. Luggage trolleys worked well, no wonky wheels making it hard to push. Loved that there was a movable table so my hubby and I could eat together. Usually in hotel rooms there is one little table with room (and only one chair) for one to sit. Lots of plugs for electronics. Wifi was really good
We traveled with our dogs, one of which has only 3-legs, and they were able to accommodate our request for a 1st floor room. The room was spacious and clean with a microwave, coffee maker and large fridge which is so helpful when traveling cross country by car. The bed was comfortable and while the hotel is near the railroad tracks (as most hotels are in Cheyenne!) it was not disruptive at all. Both staff members we interacted with were very nice.
For what it is, it's perfect. There's coffee on the corner, a liquor store a few blocks away, and Lincoln Theater is across the street! Which was our reason for staying there. Definitely stay here if you're going for a concert (we went for Orville Peck.) A couple good ole dive bars stay open until 2 but mostly the town goes dark at midnight, including the hotel. Parking a few blocks away is a drag, but it's Cheyenne, so the walk isn't too long!
Was very old and not clean. We are not picky hotel people but I was grossed out. We got the room with a pull-out sofa and it was broken there were no sheets on our beds or pillows. Front desk clerk was nice enough but not very professional. A lot of riff-raff and unsavory people here. Only stayed for one night on our way to Montana. Would not return.
It was very clean, comfortable and the staff was great. We left something in our room when we checked out. I called hotel to check and because housekeeping hadn't gotten to our room yet, the gentleman who answered put me on hold and went up to our room and found the item. He held onto it for us so we could stop on way out of town to get it.
Bed was comfy. Staff excellent. Neighborhood sketchy. Shady people around upon my check in, not sure if they were guests but I think not. I worried about my car being broke into. I worried about my safety. The outside of hotel looked really run down so I was pleasantly surprised to see the newly renovated room. Cute bathroom. Tiny but cute
I didn’t stay there. I had to go find another hotel. They put me in three different rooms. They were all dirty. The beds had stains on them hair one of the rooms had crickets in there and other bugs. It was so disgusting I could not stay there. I think that I should be reimbursed for that room.
The food was decent, not the best but decent enough for this hotel that seemed to be very vacant. it was very clean & everyone was very polite. The main hotel decor was nice - americana. We were amazed to see there were so many ball rooms.
The person on reception, (Patty?) was very helpful and friendly. In fact she was the best thing about this hotel.
Our room was spacious and generally okay,
Parking was easy.
We ate in the nearby steakhouse, which was very convenient.
Hotel in great location , especially for traveler. Amy at front desk was great on check-in.Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast a little light but good. Would stay at the hotel again if in that area.
Safe location, clean up-to-date rooms, comfortable beds, excellent front desk staff. I stay here a lot for work. It’s expensive but I come back because best hotel in Cheyenne for work/traveler stays.
The room was just as expected. Our family appreciated the delicious complimentary breakfast, especially the pastries. It was located nicely to get to Cheyenne Days easily.
