The place was absolutely comfortable and beautiful. We saw two moose walking in the back yard.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Alaska Spruce Cabins. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It lived up to our expectations and then some. I most highly recommend these cabins to others, who are visiting the Denali area. It is top class!

Healy is conveniently located nine miles north of the entrance to Denali National Park. There are several restaurants on the highway corridor, as well as motorist services. There is a Three Bears store for all of your groceries and supplies. We had a great dinner at 49th State Brewing, a small chain craft brewery.

Not really THAT much to do in Healy unless you are an actual resident. It's a very small town that seems to depend heavily on tourist traffic (it's just down the road from Denali National Park). I am a frequent visitor to Denali National Park, so I go through Healy a lot. There is a good grocery/hardware/sporting goods store, a couple diners, and a fantastic brewery/restaurant (49th State Brewery).

Healy is about 18 minutes from the Denali Park entrance so a great location. The pricing is much lower than directly outside the park. It has a grocery store, gas station and a couple of restaurants.

In my opinion, Healy is a typical town set up by and for the cruise lines who want to run people into Denali. Food is high and early May is really a challenge if you have special dietary needs. We stayed out of town in an independent hotel, which was great. Good place to plan a trip into Denali, much better than Talkeetna.

Although most places were closed we loved what we saw and this location gave us an amazing aurora borealis experience. It was quiet and had enough businesses open to make our stay enjoyable. It was a nice bonus to have a grocery store to pick up small items and the people were all friendly and helpful.

Healy seems a very good option for those who are exploring Denali National Park and/or expecting a nice display of the Northern Lights. I would recommend a hotel with wake up calls when the lights show up.
The lodge is a simple motel, hidden in the forest, away from the highway running through Healy. It is located ten minutes from the Denali National Park and super close to an awesome brewery, the 49th State Brewery - the locals’ meeting point, restaurant, bar, quite great (try the halibut and the salmon). The place is modest but it is clean and has all the necessary amenities, like a microwave or a fridge. A grocery store (not impressive) is 0.5 miles away. The shower is great.
No direct contact with staff, i.e. all contactless. Check-in easy with door code. Location ok, about 100 yards east of Parks Highway in Healy, Alaska. Grocery store, gas and a few places to eat closeby. Twelve miles north of Denali Park entrance and eleven miles north of a small business community with restaurants and travel adventure businesses (we did white water rafting and Zip-lining).
Travis came out to get us and welcomed us warmly. He gave us a rundown of the property and told us to let him know if we needed anything. We didn't need anything because our room had everything we needed and was super clean and comfortable. The location was a very short drive from the historic downtown Talkeetna. It was a great stay and we highly recommend Healy Heights Family Cabins!
This was truly a gem of a place. We were delighted with the well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, great showers, and cozy living room. Very good wifi. It is close to Denali, in the tiny city of Healy. The owners were so thoughtful and provided us with a list of things to do and places to eat. This is a winner!!! Part of the gold we struck in Alaska!!
The cabin was exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable. There was a grill outside of our cabin and a grocery store nearby. The cabin was equipped with a small fridge and microwave. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay someplace other than a hotel. Just needed a small pot and pan and we purchased what we needed from the store.
The hotel is located north of the national park in Healy, Alaska. You will need a rental car to get there. It is 12 miles from the train station. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There was moose in the parking lot early in the morning. We saw more wildlife at the hotel than we saw in the National park.
A nice copy place, a bit away from the main area of Healy, but easily accessible. The reception is in an old Alaskan railway coach!!. The manager was very hospitable and gave us a lot of information. It has a wide open area where moose come very often (did not come when we were there). Good value for money.
We loved staying at Denali Lakeview Inn - it was secluded with a home-like feel, within very close distance to Healy for restaurants and 15-20 min drive to Denali National Park entrance. The views from our room were beautiful and we loved how quiet our stay was.
Very nice staff, really good location (close to Denali NP, Healy, restaurants, laundry, grocery store). I love the bed sheets and pillow cases. Comfortable bed. I saw moose and rabbit around the hotel, really good experience. I extremely enjoyed my stay.
Absolutely loved the apartment and especially the views! Tucked away in Healy, it’s a perfect spot to relax. The room was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Highly recommended!
Nice, spacious and cozy cabin, neatly nested in healy near denali Park entrance. Very warm and welcoming hosts who put a lot of love and effort in their cabins. Lovley details. Would stay there any time again!
The breakfast was put into the room due to covid restriction. This was one of the best approaches a hotel can apply for serving breakfast in the room. We loved it.
