I liked the free parking in front of the hotel and the restaurant open until 10 p.m. The room was quite small but comfortable with new furniture. The staff was very kind. The hotel is in a good position between Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo in particular if you visit the Buzludzha communist monument. We had a great dinner and a great breakfast in the fashion main lounge which is fantastic if you don't want to leave the hotel and look for food.

We highly recommend this hotel for a visit. It's located in a quiet picturesque corner of Bulgaria with clean cool air, where you can enjoy relaxing from the summer heat. The owners of the hotel amaze with their diligence and hospitality! The dishes served in the hotel's restaurant also deserve high praise. In other words, we'll definitely be back.

Gabrovo is a small town in the middle of nowhere in Bulgaria...
Gabrovo is a small town in the middle of nowhere in Bulgaria, that offers a lot of treats. Etar(a) and the museum of Humor and Satire may be the biggest ones for me. But the authenticity of this town as a basic real bulgarian city that still is untouched by tourism overkill is very important to me.
Not for partygoets, but culture and sightseeing for a week if that is your thing.
Mazalat / Osana is a beautiful mountain hike within a taxy rides reach. Etar(a), a cultural museum is awesome for anyone interested in handicrafts an culture.
If you go to gabrovo, your favorite football team is Yantra!
The property was very spacious with big bedrooms for each of the three of us. The living room and combined kitchen were well equipped although we did not cook in the kitchen it would have been possible if we were staying more than just one night. There was only seating at the table and no comfy chairs but we used the balcony as it was sunny. The position was great just behind the town hall and easy walking distance to everywhere in town. There was parking spaces at the back which was a big advantage. We will stay here again.
This guesthouse is amazing! Our room was spacious, with a terrace, with a big comfy bed and a large bathroom. The whole refurbishment of the house is luxurious, with attention to every detail, from the bed sheets to the curtains to the wine glasses. The breakfast each morning is homemade and very tasty. The court is well-maintained, with roses and a table outside with a view over the city. There are also parking spaces in front of the house. This place is totally recommended!
Despite its ugly look, Hotel Panorama will surprise you with big en-suite rooms, with aircons at this price, and clean spaces. The staff was friendly even though they don't speak English. Very good value for money. Quiet and peaceful location, on the outskirts of Gabrovo. I had everything I needed in the room: clean towels, soap, shampoo, clean linens. Everything was just as needed.
This is the best place we had in Bulgaria: we loved it from the very first moment. Paul and Andrew are the best and do everything to make you feel at home (which we did). Great garden to read a book or play cards, to relax. The house was beautiful renovated, with much love and care, the beds were amazing. The very best was the food: extraordinairy and inspiring as well.
The house has history and character, but mostly it was exceptional because of the art pieces and the style of Paul and Andrew , which made it so much more than a historical piece - it is a contemporary monument. They are the most delicate and caring hosts. The food they cook will make you wonder wether they were professional cooks or just foodies.
this is one good hotel, located in the city centre. the most famous restaurant in Gabrovo, restaurant Rest is only 5 min. walking from the hotel. But: it is obvious that the hotel needs some refreshment works. especialy bathrooms are old and not so comfy. Over all it was good experience to have 2 nights there with my beloved woman.
Excelent apartament in the city center of Gabrovo. We rented for 5 nights and all the time felt like at home. There is everything you need in the kitchen, even spices. The bedrooms are perfect for a family with kids. The owner of the apartament is extremely hospitable.
-The receptionist was very professional and kind

-Room was clean

-Secured parking at hotel
-Very good location
-Nice hotel restaurant, as well as nearby restaurants
Basic hotel, served us good for 1 night in our moto trip. We could lock the motorcycles inside a fenced yard, so that was great for us. Basic breakfast included - it helps if you speak bulgarian, you can have breakfast options. The room was surprisingly big.
Wonderful hotel with the friendliest staff I have met in Bulgaria. There was a situation that they resolved in a most professional way. The hotel is very nice, wonderful room size, sound-proof rooms. I will visit again for sure.
Exceptional hospitality in an old stone house. Great comfort! Bulgarian restaurant next door is worth visiting on a hungry stomach as it is cheap and delicious as well.
