Panos and his staff made us feel very at home instantaneously. The villa was beautiful, so comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast every morning was stunning too! Our stay here ensured we made the most of Assos and all it has to offer, we felt so relaxed and didn't want to leave. We will back for sure, could not recommend highly enough. Thank you so much again to Panos and everyone at Chromata Assos Villas!

Everything, the most lovely hosts, we we're made to feel so welcome. Home made cake was a welcome treat which we enjoyed with our coffee looking out over the amazing views.The studios are only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The decor is done very nicely.

We had a lovely week at Roi suites. The apartment was very comfortable and the small kitchen much appreciated. Unfortunately they are unable to do breakfast during our stay but we were able to buy supplies from the mini market in the village and eat on our balcony. The sunsets from the apartments and pool were beautiful and the staff helpful. Our room was cleaned daily and the pool area was spotless. A short walk downhill to the village where there were four restuarants and two mini markets. We ate at three of the restaurants and enjoyed them all.

Everything about these apartments are amazing Gary and Anastasia keep the place spotless yes it's an apartment but it feels like a high end hotel as beds and towels changed regularly apartment made spotless every day they were the most welcoming hosts and i would highly recommend you don't hesitate and book the place is beautiful and the views from the balconies are awesome

A beautiful village with three restaurants and two well stocked mini markets. All our meals were good but there is little variety if you are staying for a week and you may wish to hire a car to visit other places to eat. The swimming is lovely and safe for children but it was quiet in late May but could get very busy in high season with only a small beach. Fiscardo is close and provides an alternative evening venue if you are confident to drive the roads after dark. I would recommend for an early or late season break.JackieUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Truly lovely, a highlight of our trip to Kefalonia. We were lucky enough to visit Asos for the night with glorious weather in the middle of May 2024. Tucked away off the main road Asos is definitely worth visiting. The castle is a 30 minute walk up if you’re fit (not 1.6 kms like some reviews suggest, more like 2.5kms I’d say) the walk is worth it for the views on the way but the castle grounds aren’t very special (history on a board would be good). No mind the walk is worth it. Go to Asos to relax and enjoy the ambience and the pretty beach. 🇦🇺

Avoid Estiatorio Platanos, Restaurant Platanos. Large American or Canadian man running this place with lots of blah blah. It's such a shame that his food isn't as good as his chat, and as large too. Terrible portions, small plates, high prices for what you get and he doesn't care, as long as he gets your money Read the reviews on other sites. He doesn't like Greeks in his restaurant because they see his scams. AVOID.

STUNNING little town with a chilled and relaxing vibe. Without a doubt, the best town to stay on Kefalonia. Asos is in a great location, relative to all the beautiful beaches and small towns in the north of the island. Asos has 2 well stocked mini marts, a bakery and a couple of nice restaurants. We rented a boat for the day through Conteco Rent a Boat, and explored all the coves and beautiful beaches around the Asos area. That was day to remember! The walk up to the Asos castle ruins is easy to navigate on a wide path and takes about 30 mins. Once up there, you are afforded the most amazing views back over the town and the towering cliffs. You dont need a car when you are in Asos, but you definitely need a car if you are planning on exploring the island. The roads are very winding but everywhere you go the views are stunning! Not only is Asos a stunning town - offering picture-perfect photos at every corner - but the people are wonderful and welcoming too. Can highly recommend the bakery! Good range of restaurants. Wonderful walks. Amazing scenery. Stunning swimming spots. Brilliant vistas! I would move there in a shot if I could!!! We used Kefalonia Taxis for all our transfers - was so stress free not having to worry about transport. We had 4 nights there. Stunning and so chilled. Gets busy during day with coach tours but is understandable as is stunning. Lovely first thing and evening as quieter. Sea is beautiful. Gorgeous terrace area for a lovely breakfast, beautiful pool and amazing sunset views from this area. All of the rooms also face this direction and have some balcony area which is really lovely. The inside was clean and spacious. We appreciated the nearby parking as well. This is a 5 minute walk to the town's center with several cute shops and restaurants to choose from. Also a close drive to Myrtos beach was perfect as well.

The bed was the best I've slept in during my visit on Kefalonia. The Wifi is very, very good and this made me truly happy. None of the other places I stayed at even came close. Our host is a relaxed man, who was approachable and easy to have a nice chat with. I would definately return and just loved it there! His wife even had sweet tasty cake awaiting us upon our arrival.

We loved just sitting looking out at the sea, the sun and the moon. The apartment is very centrally located and very handy to get to the beaches, car parks and the marina itself. Tasos is super helpful in offering hints and tips about Northern Kefalonia’s beaches, restaurants and beautiful hotspots. Also, they have really good mountain bikes available to hire for free, which makes for an amazing cycle up to Assos Castle, to watch the sunset!
