The staff was excellent. They upgraded our room without charging us. They heated our leftover dinner. They provided me with a map and advised me how to bypass Calgary on our drive to Banff.

Absolutely amazing. Staff was great. Everytime I went out they took the time to empty garbages and tidy up room.
Drumheller, was a stop along the way. Checked out Royal Tyrrell Museum, which was much more expansive than anticipated. Wonderful experience and worth the admission. Didn't see much of the town other than passing through, however there appeared to be interesting things to see and do. When in the area I will most likely check out in greater depth.

The geography of this place is incredible!
The geography of this place is incredible! The fossil history was rich and beautiful. The hoodoos were very interesting and my boys loved exploring around that area. We were passing through so only had one day and I wish we’d had time for a couple of more.

There is no place on earth like Drumheller.
There is no place on earth like Drumheller. The scenery alone is worth the trip, but the history in this community is incredible. And, of course, let's not forget the real draw to Drum - the dinosaurs!!! I've been visiting Drumheller since I was a child, and still love every minute of every visit, it never gets old. Be sure to check out the Ghost Walk!

Drumheller boasts the best museum for dinosaur lovers.
Drumheller boasts the best museum for dinosaur lovers. The badlands are a sight to behold and the quaint city with kitschy dinosaur vibes is lot of fun. Yavis is a landmark worth visit for lunch or dinner (or late night karaoke!). The Royal Tyrrell Museum has become my annual excursion.

Generally great overall.
Generally great overall. Way too busy though which isn’t the resort’s fault. Couldn’t get in to the museum, crawling with people. Suspension bridge shut down-only found out when drove out to actual site.

Have stayed in Drumheller for the Badlands Fondo 3 years in...
Have stayed in Drumheller for the Badlands Fondo 3 years in a row - just 2 nights each time, but there there's a lot more to do and explore in the area so 3 or 4 nights would be better. Great roads for biking on, and awesome saloon in Wayne 16k out of town. It's easy to miss a lot of the town of Drumheller when you stick to the main road, as it is spread out along the river, but after biking around the residential streets it appears to be a great little place to live. Canoeing and boating, fishing and has a great recreation centre and splash park/toddlers' pool.
We chose the Ramada because of the pool for our children. It was better than many of the hotel pools we’ve used in the past. They all had a blast of on the slide, and the hot tub was much appreciated by myself and my husband. The room was very spacious with ample room for all of us to sleep and move around comfortably.
It was also a pleasant surprise to find that breakfast was actually cooked and served by staff whereas most places that offer free breakfast require guests to cook their own waffles etc.
We loved our stay at the Travelodge! We came on a very cold weekend to enjoy the Royal Tyrell Museum. We arrived late but check-in was great. The room was cozy and plenty warm when we arrived. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent and very close to everything in Drumheller. Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy more of the beautiful surroundings. Wouldn't hesitate to book this place again and would recommend it.
The home was very warm and welcoming. The house is clean and sharing a bathroom was not as bad as I thought it would be. The home owners were very polite and I enjoyed our conversations. The hospitality and kindness really enhanced our trip and made it an unforgettable experience. Breakfast was delicious and catered to my girlfriends vegetarian needs. Thank you very much. We will definitely stay here again if ever in Drumheller.
Everything went well. Traveling with little kids, the pool was a very nice activity to do at the end of the day. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was perfect and a nice way to start the day. They have high chairs and booster seats which was perfect. The room had 2 queen bed and a sofa bed. Recommend the O’Shea restaurant in front of the hotel, family owned, nice food, great service.
We were put in a handicap room with an exterior door on the first floor , the carpet was dirty the only chair was filthy and the room was tiny so we checked out and stayed the remaining two days at Ramada inn and what a difference , for $3 more there was no comparison, sorry but you sure need some updating in your hotel , we couldn’t stay there again the way it is
There was no breakfast, but there were restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The room was retro but very clean and quite comfortable. There were shops close by so if you wanted to get some fresh air walking was great. We saw the fireworks from the hotel room which was beautiful on Canada day.
Room was clean & had everything we needed. The hotel was also very close to downtown & the visitor information so everything was easily accessible. Bonus points: you could see the giant dinosaur from our room (north facing), so our toddler LOVED it. Staff was very friendly & helpful.
The staff were friendly and helpful upon check-in. The location was fine as Drumheller is small, but it is about a 5 minute drive to get to Downtown. The room did have an A/C unit as well, which in the summer was a very nice perk. Truthfully I didn’t like very much about this place.
Convenient and easy to find. Eventhough it is on a major road the hotel is set back far enough that the highway noice doesn’t create any noise problems when inside. Whifs restaurant has good home cooked meals at a reasonable price and portions are BIG.
My partner and I stayed for one night when passing through Drumheller and its exactly what we needed.
Staff were so lovely and polite, their restaurant (Sam's Kitchen) served delicious Indian Cuisine and would recommend.
The staff is excellent and are all very kind individuals.
The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable.
Great place for families to go to, they have really cute dinosaur decor throughout the hotel.
Location excellent close to everything. Staff went the extra mile, and set my kids toys up in super cool ways and they enjoyed finding them. Will stay here for all my trips to Drumheller
The rooms were spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The hot breakfast was served by a wonderfully friendly lady and had great food.
Absolutely recommend this hotel.
Brenda was a wonderful host. It was convenient to all the attractions we wanted to visit, and was much better than staying in a hotel. We enjoyed use of the bbq.
