The location on it's own beach was fantastic, the views of Koh Samed were beautiful. The restaurants and Bars were welcoming hover very very expensive for the quality and choice of food. We discovered better places to eat and drink only a short drive from the hotel.
The rooms were very nice, simple and older in style, but clean and the staff were very helpful.

Beautiful view and excellent location by the beach. This room was good, but outdated. If you are someone who wants a new kitchen, you will not like it. It was ok for me - no need to cook when there are great little beach restaurants right in front.

We decided to stay in Ban Phe to break up a long journey. It is not a tourist town and there is not a great deal to do. It is a busy little port and geared up mainly for trips to Koh Samet island which is beautiful but very busy.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Ban Phe is the departure port for a 10 minute fast ferry ride to Koh Samed. The departure point is a hub of the area and is very touristy. There is a lot of accommodation nearby if needed or stay on Koh Samed quite easily.
