Beautiful place, not overcrowded.
Beautiful place, not overcrowded. Attended the parkrun on the Saturday, met a bunch of lovely folks there. The parkrun itself was tough. Had a lovely run along the fjord, lovely views and natural surroundings. Buses and trains were excellent. Went to the cinema, a comfortable experienece. Don't bother taking cash - everything is paid for by card. Plenty eateries for all tastes. Had a delicious dinner at the Indian Tandoori.

Stayed here as stopover before and after an 8-day Havilla cruise, Trondheim to Kirkenes and back. Which was excellent by the way and highly recommended.
So we spent one day touring the city and seeing some sites.
Walked a circuit to the Fortress, Bakklandet, Old Bridge around the river front into the Nidaros Cathedral and then down to the harbour via the town square. Enroute, tea & cake, lite lunch followed by an fantastic Beers & Pizza at Grano next to hotel. 5+ miles.

The booking.com recommendation with sleep 4 quadruple room 2...
The booking.com recommendation with sleep 4 quadruple room 2 adults and two children. (rules: check in age must be 18 years or old) But come in on the day of booking, the hotel staffs states the hotels rules is that children age of two years or older considers adult) so they charge extra person NOK 50 per child since the booking did not declare the child as adults. The hotels has not thing to do with the booking since it stated only two adult. I need to deal with the booking.com. stay away!!!

We stayed in Trondheim for 1 day to recover from 2-days ride...
We stayed in Trondheim for 1 day to recover from 2-days ride. Very nice and quite city. There are a couple of cool places if you like history: the Nidaross cathedral and the space around. We visited Rockheim and it is kinda cool. There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the central area. The city has its own vibe. However, it’s hard to imagine what to do there for 2+ days besides the trips outside.
This was more or less what we expected; a hotel clearly designed for (but used not only by) people who have some kind of business in the adjacent hospital. Everything in a nice, modern Scandinavian style, and well maintained. Nice bright interiors. The room was quite basic, but clean enough and functional. The bed was good. The bathroom, while basic, was very spacious and comfortable, evidently designed for maximum accessibility. The breakfast won't win any prized but was perfectly edible. Overall, a good stay.
Hotel at the great location, next to Nidarosdomen, sanctum sanctorum of Norway. Holy place, felt very comfortable and peaceful sleeping there...It is next to Nidaros river, very nice sight... Everything of interest is in the short walking distance. Hotel is humble and one should not expect luxury especially from the place dedicated to pilgrims accommodation. Rooms and toilets are clean. The place is ok for 2 - 3 nights... Breakfast is good, variety of foods.
Great location just a 2-3 min walk from the train station. Everything we needed to reach was so close to the hotel, including public transport. If you travel from the airport by bus, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel.
The staff is extremely polite and helpful.
Every day between 5-7 pm there is a treat available out of charge- waffles and tea. When you walk into the hotel at that time, a sweet smell surrounds you, creating a feeling of home.
communicative staff, clean and comfortable place. provided amenities for things such as scrubber, female hygiene, laundry IN apartment with laundry soap, actually comfortable bed, tv with casting abilities to play movies from phone. fast wifi, electric charger for car outside. every need was met, even gave recommendations for delivering food late at night! would definitely stay again and planning to on our next Norway trip!
The rooms were very comfortable, the apartment is very cosy and great if you're a group of friends / colleagues looking to visit Trondheim, much better value than a hotel, especially as you can prepare your own meals with a microwave, hob and oven. The washing machine was very convenient and the shower is great. Having two toilets and a dishwasher was very useful too.
The hotel is a very modern and big hotel, offering quite a lot of space and comfort. Everything is pretty modern and fancy, also the location is quite nice, not too far away from downtown.
Breakfast is really awesome, get some coffee, the coffee lady was really great, whole breakfast offered a huge variety
The hotel is located two minutes walk from all the main sights. Breakfast was very good.
We had a room on the forth floor with a view over the street and a bit of a cathedral.
You can also play table tennis, if you want.
Coffee and tea are available at the reception free of charge.
Located right in the center of town, very close to the central station. The staff of the hotel (albeit at the reception of a different hotel of theirs, about two blocks away from the Sentrum location) was adequate and the luggage storage room (also at the reception) seems safe.
This is a very spacious property and has everything you need in a self-contained apartment! The bed was comfortable and the property is literally next door to the train station, 5min walk to a bus station and about 20mins into the centre of town.
The hotel had a gym and it was important to me, it wasn't really upgraded, but it was enough to make my exercise. I really enjoyed the breakfast and the bread was amazing. Really nice location, nice vibe for the hotel. The staff was super nice!
We loved our stay! The view on the river was incredible and the hotel was walking distance from absolutely everything. The breakfast spread made us feel like royalty. The staff were very friendly. The environment was clean and relaxed. 10/10!
Room with a nice view of a river and yachts, pretty in winter. Close to train station. Clean bathroom, cozy bedroom. Neat common room for breakfast and socializing. Good value for money. Generally happy with the hotel.
Nice, clean, spacious and well-equipped appartment. Great location. In general, considering that this is an appartment rental and not a hotel, the property and check-in/out process generally met my expectations.
We liked just about everything. Loved the warm bathroom floor. The location was perfect, close to train station and cruise line pier. The hotel is vintage with all the necessary items modernized and very clean.
This hotel had an excellent location within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping and important historical sites. The hotel offered 2 restaurant options and both were excellent.
The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with many options. The location is also great. The Emilies Eld restaurant at the hotel is also very good.
the breakfast selection was outstanding, fresh and with options for all tastes. The best hotel breakfast in Norway several years on the trot, I was informed.
The best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. Just perfect. The room was also fantastic, the best bed. Of course, we tried the spa and it was great too.
