Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

I was looking for someplace to stay prior to flying out from Keflavik airport, I had a rental car, and I did not want to stay within the urban area on the coast to the north of the airport. For me, the Garður Apartments were ideal: there was a kitchen area to prepare food (because there are no nearby restaurants), the area was quiet except for calling birds, and I enjoyed walking to lighthouse that is about 20 minutes' walk away. The airport is roughly a 15-minute drive away, and so easy to reach with a car.

This was such a great apartment, very large with all the amenities. The beds were comfortable, temperature in apartment easily adjusted because each room has its own furnace. t was clean and perfect location to Keflavik airport but also right down the road from the Gardur Lighthouse and Rostin Restaurant (great food and view). Margret, the owner or manager of the apartment, was so kind and helpful, we would love to have stayed longer.

Beautiful hotel and rooms, very convenient for airport and nice restaurant within a 5min walk when hotel restaurant is closed. Very accomodating, they made me a little to-go breakfast because I had to leave for airport before breakfast started. The room was huge and very modern and clean. Easy parking lot, straight shot to airport with about a 15min drive. Large, very nice bathroom.

We stayed for six nights in one of the Gardur studios, which was a great place to spend our time in Iceland. The apartment was clean, fully equipped and cozy. We even managed to watch the northern lights from the window of our bedroom. Something that we will never forget. Margret is wonderful, always helpful in case you need. Thank you for everything

The restaurant El Faro within the hotel is simply FANTASTIC! Book your 1st night or last night of your vacation in this hotel (when flying from/ to Reykavik International airport) and enjoy a lovely dinner. The hotel is only 15 min away from the airport but located in a quiet and beautifull area.

Perfect hotel to spend a night before the morning flight, only 50 minutes drive from Reykjavik and 13 minutes drive from Keflavik airport. Cosy, clean rooms and very kind staff at the reception desk. And a big + for the magnificent auraras that we had a chance to observe. 😊 Highly recommended.

Cozy hotel, rustic location, close to airport so especially convenient for late arrivals or an early flight. The restaurant serves great food. Dinner is recommended. Good breakfast included. It's a short walk from a pretty historical lighthouse. This was our second stay here. Will come again.

Nice apartment with two (smallish) bedrooms. Close to the ocean and the lighthouses of Gardur. The apartment had everything we needed, although we missed a tea kettle. Good coffee provided. The hot water takes a while to get warm. The apartment is great for 2, with 4 should also be okay.

Spacious, comfortable, and great value. The property had everything that we needed and was close to the airport. Although there was not much open in Gardur itself, Keflavik was close by and had several restaurants, even ones open fairly late. I recommend this property.

A lovely apartment to stay in Gardur. Very close to the sea and the lighthouses, a lot of green around. A great place to stay in contact with nature. Everything was very clean and nice. and it was very quiet at night. I would stay again.

I always stay in Gardur when arriving and departing Iceland as it is so close to the airport. Great value accommodation and also a great restaurant next to the lighthouse. The fish stew is amazing!
