Amazing location with parking a real bonus. Two balconies. Spotlessly clean. Receptionist at hotel desk to check in really helpful and friendly when we rang as we’re having trouble finding the parking spot. Nice decor , toiletries and tea / coffee etc provided.

Stayed with my partner at the Duke in April, the location is brilliant! There’s a parking 2 minutes away which was handy. All the restaurants/bars/beach just a few minutes walk.
Our double room was beautiful and spacious with a lot of light. We also had a breakfast in the morning which was absolutely delicious! Full English was 5/5. Definitely recommend staying here.
Just across the road from the beach, Hotel Continental offers well-appointed rooms around 10 minutes’ walk from Whitstable’s characterful town centre.

Great location and property overall. We had a child and it was brilliant for parking our car, leaving the pushchair on the ground floor and enjoying our stay upstairs.

Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes.
Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes. Harbour area was particularly pleasant although parking in this area was expensive. Plenty of town centre parking. We visited in April so the town was quite quiet but I imagine in the summer, it would be busy. Visited Whitstable Castle but not much to see or do there although the gardens were pretty.

The local people helpful and friendly. We liked the art deco styling of The Peter Cushing pub and the drinks were the cheapest in Whitstable.
Interesting to read about the actor who used to live in one of the characterful houses on the seafront.

Whitstable is lovely although the hotel we stayed at isabove the Tankerton slopes that lead down to the beach at Tankerton. The beach is pebbles but clean. The town of whitstable is quaint with small independent shops. There is an excellent fish snd chip shop in the town Jones, although that is closing down soon. Plenty of lovely restaurants and coffee shops.

This was an extremely short trip so we could only sample a bit of the town but we loved it. Lots of individual shops, cafes and restaurants. Interesting pubs and a small but fascinating museum. Also managed to have a look round the Harbour too. Had a drink at the Twelve Taps - that offer a tasting board of 3 x small beers. And found a fish and chip shop with attached restaurant that did gluten-free fish and chips.
What a hidden gem… On arrival we were met by Anna who was friendly and welcomed us to the Suite.
5 star boutique hotel facilities, power shower, luxurious fluffy bathrobes and the finest bed linen, really comfortable bed, newly refurbished and immaculately clean.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a fantastic choice.
Beautifully sea views and attention to every detail. I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you so much, will be back for longer next time ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The location was perfect, right in the centre of Whistable. The view from our window/balcony of the beach was brilliant.
Our main reason for choosing his option rather than other locations was it parking space (a rare commodity in Whitstable!). The accommodation is room only, tea and coffee making facilities only but there is the option of having breakfast at The Continental Hotel (the owners of the properties) but there are many other options also nearby.
The property was bright and airy and incredibly clean upon arrival. The mini fridge was stocked with water and juice and there were tea and coffee making facilities on both floors with ample wardrobe space. The location was fantastic, just 2 minutes walk to the sea front and next to a lot of restaurants. There’s an allocated parking space which was much appreciated. Check in is at the Hotel Continental where the staff were lovely.
Great location, good choice on menu.. Reception/Bar staff brilliant.. welcome letter and instruction how to use the air conditioner (why don't more hotels be that considerate) room cleam
For sea from property the road and outside were really quite at night.. We walked into Whitstable along the sea promenade not having to worry about finding a parking spot or stopping for a drink made it so much more relaxing..
It was such a pleasant surprise from the moment we walked into Hotel Continental - we received a warm welcome, lovely service & the hotel has an unbeatable location. Traveling as a family of 5, it was fantastic to have the Family Room complete with proper beds for everyone to enjoy a comfortable restful sleep. Complimentary secure parking for our car on location added to this great guest experience.
Fabulous location- Check in was ok, just check in hotel continental and parking was an easy 5-10 minute walk. (For those complaining, at least you don't have to pay extra for parking!)
The room was clean and bright, and in the best little location. You can hear the other guests, but not annoyingly so. Really enjoyed it, and for the price, location and room quality i would stay again!
LOVED IT, SELF SERVICE CEREAL/TOAST, BUTTER AND PRESERVE + BEVERAGES AND BOTTLE OF WINE AVAILABLE ON ARRIVAL AND REPLENISH BREAKFAST ITEMS WHEN NEEDED, COSY AND WARM WITH FAN HEATER IF EXTRA BOOST NEEDED. Fabulous that it was totally dog friendly with small enclosed outdoor area to let him out.
The location was incredible, so close to the sea and to the high street with restaurants and shops. The Warehouse Cottages were modern and spotlessly clean with character and interesting features. For those who drive, they also had a parking space available, including EV chargepoint
Smallish but perfectly formed! Modern, clean format. Superb design and layout. Splendid large shower!
Just incredibly comfortable and cosy. Spotlessly clean. Ideal for a couple of days break.
Easy parking out front and fairly short walk to shops or to beach.
We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. The location is excellent for both the sea (literally a 30 second walk) and the town. The beds were extremely comfortable and the furnishings are modern and clean. There's a good parking space directly on the property too
Great hotel. Lovely terrace out the front for drinks/food. Great view across the beach and sea. Had a sea view double which gave a fantastic sunset view. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast and evening meal. Short walk into Whitstable. Would happily recommend.
The Space at 8 is just a dream. Beautifully decorated, clean, a wonderful outdoor space, perfect location, on and on. Alex was very responsive to any questions. If I ever get to Whitstable again, I will stay at The Space at 8. Thanks for everything Alex!
The house is very cosy and cute, super clean, comfortable beds. The host is absolutely amazing, Sinead went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Location is perfect, 5 min from the beach. Whitstable is a cute little town with fantastic restaurants.
Beautiful and simple property with wonderful views. Fab location for the High Street, bars, cafés, and Whitstable Castle. Management and Hotel Continental staff at the end of the phone for help if and when needed. Added bonus of a parking space.
Everything about this place is wonderful I can't fault it in any way.whitstable is a great place to visit plenty of good eateries nice bars and of course the beautiful beach. I'll definitely be coming back 😄
The hotel is located only 30 mins walk from whitstable. The restaurant food and service was
excellent and the rooms well appointed and decorated. The views are stunning.
The rooms were spotless and the location was amazing! We parked our car (in the hotel’s overflow parking area) and were able to do everything on foot during our stay.
Near the beach. Lovely walk into Whitstable. Quietness and comfortable bed. Availability of good places to eat. Recommend Marine hotel for evening meal.
