We loved the location in the middle of the countryside with beautiful walks from the doorstep (the bespoke map with circular walks of various levels from the inn was a lovely touch). The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully decorated with everything you could need. The food was exceptional (and we live in London) - much more than you would expect for a typical pub!

Lovely old pub/hotel in the middle of Lenham village. Nice spacious, comfortable room which was quiet despite being in the old part of the hotel. The staff were lovely, there was ample parking (free) and the food was very good. Handy for the M20. Good value for money.

Thought the food not breakfast was mediocre
Eg my mushroom veggie burger had a very thin slice of cheese
So do my grand son
Medium quality
Break fast was good but rationed ie pastires would run out and staff state there are non
Then they appear much later
For four star hotel would expect tea and coffee service at break fast but it was self service and queues .
Room service person was not given tray for food and struggled with our order
He must of dropped some as some of our food was on the floor in the corridor
Plate
Of food was slipped over edge and piles so we knew the plate had gone arry
Again mediocre half a popadom ? Soft .
Bat was good with good selection of drinks and decent price
Staff worked hard and are under staffed hence struggling with tasks
Our room had no plug sockets by the bed so an extension had to be rigged up to use a air med machine. Cannot plug mobiles etc near to the bed
Nice room though and good cleaning service
Would stay there again but would have to be for less per night and would eat out

We stayed at the New Flying horse Inn, while walking the Pilgrims Way. Staff were so helpful, friendly and accomodating. Food was fantastic and great service. Breakfast was 5 star and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Would highly recommend this hotel/restaurant/pub - i could not fault it - perfection

I have to start by saying a big thank you to Richard and Marianne who are quite excellent hosts at the Plough Inn. The property we stayed in was spotless and the continental breakfast we had ordered was delivered to our room. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and the service was outstanding. Information on local walks were available from Marianne and the countryside around Stalisfield Green is lovely with fields of Wheat and Barely swaying in the wind interspersed with vibrant wild flower meadows full of brilliant yellow buttercups. The paths are well waymarked for walkers and with just the occasional broken style or overgrown footpath. Overall a lovely village and Inn.
