This is a very hand place to stay in Richmond, a 10 minute walk from the station. The best thing of the stay was the bacon at breakfast. It tasted like it had just come off the grill, fresh, hot and not at all overcooked as you in many other hotels. I had orange juice, coffee, toast and marmalade, bacon sausage and egg but there was much more in offer. My room, at the top of the house was very big with a good sized double bed. The bathroom was a bit small but had clean towels and plenty of hot water. It has the advantage of being an inn with the pub downstairs. Last orders was 22:30 so no noise at night.

Didn’t get chance to see more than the park but it was worth the stay just for that. We were visiting for a sporting event nearby and we were perfectly situated. The surrounding area looked lovely, very green and clean. Walking in London and seeing wild deer is a must

We liked the restaurants and cafés.
We liked the restaurants and cafés. There are many interesting places to visit nearby. We enjoyed Syon Huse, Osterley House and the London Wetland Centre. It's an easy train journet to Waterloo Station for Central London. I wouldn't want to live under the Heathrow flight path.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and understanding of our multiple changes to the reservation dates. They worked with us on extending our stay and being able to stay in the same room the whole time. We appreciated the electric kettle, coffee, tea, milk, and extra blanket in the room. The hotel is right by the train station and close to shopping so that we could get around easily. It was a quiet and safe neighborhood. It was a lovely stay.
The location overlookng the Thames is beautiful.
The apartment is close to good restaurants and supermsrkets if you wish to cook in.

The property was very comfortable. There was nothing I needed and it wasn’t available. The location was perfect for public transport. Literally opposite the tube and train station of Richmond. Two steps away from the river and the gorgeous greens. Very quite building and safe. The host was so quick to reply and accommodate instantly. I will have to be in London every two to three months and would book the same property again and always.
Classic British house, maybe Victorian-age built. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Tesco supermarket and subway station close by. Friendly hosts. Clean and cosy room with private bathroom. Free wireless internet and many electric devices available (ex. frigde, hair dryer, microwave oven, kettle, TV etc.). Best quality/price ratio in all London. I may return next year if AELTC will provide me another Wimbledon Centre Court ticket.
A quiet oasis in London on the river, close to places of interest and shopping. Helpful staff throughout the hotel and fitness centre. Great breakfast choice and delicious. Comfy beds and good sized room with a beautiful garden and tennis courts outlook
Beautiful old building and we loved the unique interior! The location was gorgeous too, Richmond Hill is outer London at its best! The spa was great and we highly recommend the treatments there. Spa staff were delightful!
The Location, Room were perfect, not too far from the Railway and Tube Station, easy access to London. The Reception was manned all the time. Was very pleased with everything. No breakfast was provided.
Due to our error there was a mix up with meeting rooms. The staff went above and beyond to sort it out. They couldn't have been more helpful. A great London business hotel - easy access for West London.
This was the 2nd time we stayed at The Selwyn Hotel, and it as great as the last time. Starting from the friendly ladies at front desk, to the location, rooms, etc. Will definitely be coming back
