Great location to Norwich Airport when arriving on a late flight and no hire car pickup available at that time. Staff were great and made up the sofa bed so it was ready for our son to go straight to sleep on arrival. Breakfast variety was really good.
Will always use this hotel when passing through Norwich AP.

Once an important medieval trading centre, Norwich remains a popular shopping destination. The Chapelfield centre is the newest addition, whereas a historic shop sells the city’s most famous export: Colman’s Mustard. Castle Mall is underground, in a hill topped with a keep, part of the 12th-century castle founded by William the Conqueror.
Dating to the same era is the large cobbled square housing a 6-day market. It was said that Norwich had a church for every week, and while that is no longer true, over 30 medieval churches still exist. The cathedral was built using stone from Normandy and boasts England’s 2nd largest cloisters and 2nd tallest spire.
Colourful medieval façades line Elm Hill and the Guildhall is another fine example of the period. Half-timbered Dragon Hall was a trading hall, while St Andrew’s and Blackfriars Halls constitute England’s most intact friary. The 14th-century Cow Tower sits by the River Wensum upstream from Pulls Ferry, the train station and Norwich City FC.
Reportedly, Norwich once had a pub for every day, and today’s traditional inns and modern bars are certainly popular with the student population. Other entertainment options include the Theatre Royal and Playhouse.
Norwich accommodation on Booking.com includes historic hotels with pools, city centre guest houses and riverside apartments, all near to Norwich Airport.

City is not the quaint picture postcard cobbled streets you imagine. Sadly the closure of major department stores in the centre gives feeling of neglect. Every street has empty premises. Major fast food outlets dominate and individual restaurants hard to find. Cathedral and its area is beautiful and well maintained. Street market jaded and short of shops. Locally owned Jarrold store worth a visit. Buses to outlining areas very good. Parking for cars difficult as in any city. Local people are very welcoming and stay can be used as centre for visiting the Norfolk Broads and outlying areas.

Such a historic, rich, cultural place which was greatly enhanced for me by staying in the Colegate area with it's historic churches, squares, and leafy river walks . Else where there are two cathedrals and also public and private galleries where I saw some excellent exhibitions. There is an independent cinema with a very good art house movie programme constantly being updated and a beautiful bar. There are many wonderful cafes where you can chill with high quality beverages and patisseries. There is also the plantation Garden which I shall reserve for my next visit and the Castle Museum and Art Gallery with it's lovely gardens. The shopping is also very good.

Norwich is more than "fine" - it has character and personality. Little shops you won't find elsewhere including one of the best wine shops in the country (Harper Wells), glorious church buildings (many now in other uses), good pubs and restaurants, theatres large and small, two cathedrals and a castle, a river offering boating and riverside walks, an outdoor covered market... I could go on. Visit!

As we lived in Norwich for 15 years and were returning to vist friends and family, we know that Norwich is a lovely city with options to shop from the mall to the market place. It has many good places to visit, including for children, For adults, plenty of options to eat and drink and it still has a lively music scene.
Lovely character hotel in my favourite part of Norwich. Warm, clean, comfortable and large room with en-suite (I stayed in a double room). Friendly and welcoming staff.
Located near to the river, next to the beautiful cathedral and surrounded by wonderful old lanes and streets. Short walk to the city centre with the market and shopping. I travelled by train, but there is car parking available. Norwich station is about half a mile away.
I am biased - Norwich is one of my favourite cities in the UK :-)
Delightful hotel which is very old and furnished in a sympathetic style suiting the hotel. Staff were amazingly attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The cooked breakfast was delicious as were the self service items such as cereal, juice etc. Although off the beaten track, it is only 3-4 miles from Norwich City centre which is ideal if you want to stay in secluded peace and quiet in the evening. Getting a taxi into the city centre was quick and easy!
The hotel was very nicely furnished. There were very comfortable lounges downstairs. The breakfast area was very nice looking out onto the garden. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very efficient. The bedroom was nicely done and the bathroom had a bath and shower. There is plenty of room for parking and the hotel is central. The staff were very friendly and took the effort to remember peoples names. All in all a stay here is highly recommended.
Excellent staff, all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble to sort out. Food was first class and the whole ambience of the hotel was so welcoming.Given the hotel's age, all alterations had been carefully thought through and did not detract from the history of the building. Location was excellent for the Cathedral and the city generally, just a short walk to anywhere central. An excellent idea to have a hotel provided i pad in your room too!
The hotel is ideally situated in a moat.oleasant part of Norwich, close to the city centre but tucked away in a lovely residential area. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, both at reception and in the restaurant. We ate dinner and breakfast on site. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was generous and the full English was good.
Location was good. We were going to the concert "Lets Rock Norwich" and the park was a walk away. The house was very homely, well equipped and clean. the furnishings was nice and the main bedroom had an ensuite toilet and then there was also a bathroom on the same floor and on the ground floor. We were 4 people one couple and 2 singles and the space was great.
The hotel was perfect location for the event we attended in Norwich city centre. The staff were helpful and polite. Plenty of parking and great amenities! We used the spa/pool facilities after checking out, again.. clean tidy and well maintained! We got a complimentary upgrade which was a pleasant surprise, thank you! We will definitely stay again :)
The hotel location is great and the room is a good size. The shower is nice and powerful and the bathroom clean. I did not use the microwave and fridge but they were clean and easily accessed. I am disabled and sometimes use a wheel chair, I was not in a disabled room but found the hotel easily accessible. The staff were friendly and approachable.
Great location, it is walking distance to city centre without being on the busy high street.
The property is well equipped with everything you would need for your stay.
The host was quick to reply to queries, and even accommodated a last minute request.
A lovely place that I would happily stay in next time we are in Norwich.
Lovely period building in a central location, lovely part of Norwich city centre. Near to everything but quite peaceful. 24 hour parking at £10 in the car hotel park was useful for us too.
Our bedroom was spacious, light and well insulated. No noise disturbance at all and we slept very well.
Very nice staff: friendly and helpful.
This property is beautifully presented with everything you need for a short break in Norwich.
The beds were so comfortable and the flat was exceptionally clean.
The location was perfect for exploring the city centre.
We needed to contact the owner during our stay, and our issue was quickly resolved.
The Station Hotel is a very modest hotel close to Norwich railway station. Even though it is located by a busy A-road, the bedrooms are at the back of the building, so are not affected by road noise. Staff are very friendly and the Wi-fi works well. Accommodation is extremely good value.
Fantastic facilities, rooms and apartments in a beautiful village. Location is very close to Norwich and surrounding areas. The restaurant and bar were excellent, so much so, we returned to the Hotel for dinner each night! Highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is ok for a short stay. Comfortable room, lovely breakfast and pleasant staff. We were happy with the warm swimming pool and sauna. A short distance from the city centre by car. We liked exploring Norwich.
Gorgeous pub with amazing staff. The rooms are a bit basic but super clean and well-equipped with great beds. Wonderful restaurant--best meal we had in England!
Clean, comfortable room with good facilities. The hotel was close enough to Norwich city centre to walk (very convenient) but far enough out to be quiet.
