Lovely room and the whole house was very clean and well decorated and maintained. The complimentary House cats who would pop by for cuddles were an excellent addition to the staff

Nantwich is beautiful with varied architectural buildings, lots of places to eat and drink, leisurely walks can be had by the river and there are plenty of shops.
There was a quality street market on the Saturday we were there but it wasn't too busy.

Quaint town with some well-preserved old buildings and loads of pubs. Stayed at the Cheshire Cat, drank at the Black Lion, the Crown looked fantastic (but didn't go in) and Ebeneezer's Beer Emporium is a surprisingly cosy and fantastically stocked craft beer venue. Had a cuppa in the Book Shop which is an amazing building. Visited the Museum which is decent considering the size of the town. The lauded St Mary's church is impressive but in our view doesn't live up to it's hype. And the River Loop (which isn't really a round walk as we understand it) was also a little disappointing although pleasant enough.

The size of the accommodation, it was massive & within very easy reach of all the shops & the cafe beneath the accommodation provided everything you could wish for & I enjoyed the most beautiful full English breakfast whereas my husband went for the pie & chips, all delicious. It was a great chance to meet up with an old friend who lives in Nantwich.

It’s a pretty town centred around the Town Square and St Mary’s Church, with very little in-town traffic and plenty of pedestrian areas. It is a compact little town, very walkable and pleasant to stroll streets of attractive small shops, interspersed with quiet residential corners, lots of gardens, trees and flowers, and everywhere friendly people. Interesting architecture from early Tudor, Georgian and later times, a good little museum, market hall and the Civic Hall where you can get all the information you require. We ate at the Pillory House Coffee Shop and at various fish and chip shops! all very good, especially Welsh Row Fryer.

Nantwich is historically fascinating.
Nantwich is historically fascinating. Beautiful Norman Church. Good indoor market three mornings a week. Other markets at weekends. All shops are independent and different. A rare thing. Very friendly. Large beautiful central square. Loved it.

Historic Cheshire town well worth visiting and staying overnight.
Have stayed in both the Crown and Cheshire cat. Worth walking circular riverside and canal trail. Good marina and café short walk from city centre Excellent central square with both outdoor and separate indoor market . Good bookshop and very good choice of restaurants. Easy to get around town. We ate in a good Chinese restaurant. Enjoyed staying overnight in the very historic Cheshire cat with free car parking and excellent location and breakfast and helpful staff but would not stay again at this hotel on a Saturday night as extremely noisy due to a night club which is outside of the control of the hotel but would definitely stay again midweek or on a Sunday
The apartment was spacious, modern and fresh. It had excellent kitchen facilities and a good sized bathroom with a bathtub with shower. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a lounge to relax in. There's also a large wardrobe for clothes. The property is in close proximity to the town centre and nearby bars and restaurants.
Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was hot and tasty, I was impressed by the quality of the food. Overall, this was an excellent stay and would not hesitate in recommending the Cheshire Cat.
Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, a good size and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and we both had a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was great - full English which was 'on the money'. Parking is limited but we managed to park on the 'road' next to the hotel - so no problems. Checking in and out was very straight forward. The website alerted us to possible noise from the bar area, but we found it to be quiet and were not disturbed at all. All in all a great nights stop over.
The location was central and a short walk from the town and canal. There were supermarkets withing a short driving distance.
I travelled with my husband and 3 children and we went to Nantwich to visit a friend.
There was a small back yard which we used to store scooters and bikes and felt they were safe.
The property next door is owned by the same company and we may be returning to visit our friend with another family who plan to stay next door.
I'm really fussy but could not fault the cleanliness.
Lovely family, very welcoming, especially the lovely dog Finn. Good night's sleep. Loved the room decoration, nice tea and coffee facilities. Delicious breakfast, set me up for the day. It is so very difficult to find somewhere dog-friendly around Lancashire, Cheshire or Staffordshire near the M6/M5 journey heading to or from Scotland to the southwest of England so it was a real gem to find this place. I can highly recommend this B&B.
Handy place to stay for a wedding in Nantwich. The room is within a family home with an external bathroom for our sole use - so everything as expected from the listing. The room lock was secure. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. It was good value. The hosts were friendly but discreet and contactable via the messaging function. The cats are also very friendly. We enjoyed walking on the canal.
Fabulous place to stay from arrival to departure staff friendly, and helpful. Beautiful building, comfortable and welcoming .
Fabulous grounds to walk or sit in, quiet and relaxed. Bedrooms were large with well appointed bathroom and comfy beds.
Food faultless both dinner and breakfast. Spa area is a wonderful space, large pool and other facilities were spotless.
Very nice stay, the house is clean and spacious and the view is really nice. There is a farm shop closeby and you can walk into Nantwich easily but also go wander off in the English countryside. There is also a very useful book with lots of recommended activities compiled by the hosts. Highly recommend !
the pub was amazing! old style but with quirky decor and really nice variety of spaces to sit. good selection of beers and wines. Food was excellent. Our room was really well set out, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Lorraine on reception, was brilliant, our rooms were not quite ready when we arrived, (we were early) but she made us very welcome and comfortable, she was a credit to the hotel.
Location was absolutely stunning. Quaint 'chocolate box' cottage with Beautiful garden surrounded by lots of green space and fields. So peaceful and quiet
