Authentic Dales village, ideal for walkers, with or without dogs, with two great pubs for hospitality and accommodation.
A beautiful, picturesque setting, complete with flowing stream running through it.
Busy and congested in high season and at weekends due to it's close proximity to Malham Cove. Village quiet in evening.
Parking available for pub/inn clients and guests but can be challenging for day visitors when busy.

Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks. Unfortunately like much of England currently the walks suffered from the amount of litter particularly the amount of dog poo and full dog poo bags discarded in all sorts of places such as dry stone walls

Malham is absolutely beautiful.
Malham is absolutely beautiful. I can imagine it is really busy during the summer so October was an excellent time to visit. Malham Cove is stunning and a short walk from the village. There are lots of beautiful walks right from the village. We started and ate at The Lister Arms. Highly recommend this pub. The food is fantastic and the staff very welcoming. Loved the bar woth the open log fire after a long days hiking. The fish and chips were top notch. The Moules Marinere delicious. The beds very comfortable and the rooms stylish and cosy.

Malham is a beautiful old village with fantastic walking on the doorstep. The village is extremely picturesque everywhere and Gordale Scar,Janet's Foss and Malham Cove all provide the perfect circular walk from the village that can be done easily in 2/3 hours max and each place is unique and stunning! An absolute gem ! It gets busy obviously but early mornings or late afternoons and dusk are perfect times to see these places .Dusk walking is stunning here catching the late light .Paths are all well maintained and easy to follow with fantastic signage everywhere for those who are new to the area and the landscape is ancient and very interesting.
Absolutely beautiful stay at Miresfield, the rooms were gorgeous so spacious, comfy and decorated beautifully, loved the touch of some homemade biscuits too. Breakfast was fabulous, loveliest staff to welcome us and take our orders for breakfast. Location of the hotel is perfect, can take a walk to Malham cove or explore the near by villages, free parking at the hotel too. We loved our stay here and will definitely be returning!
The perfect spot to base ourselves for a few days walking in the Dales. Kirkby Malham is a very quiet hamlet a mile from Malham. The Victoria Inn was easy to find, the staff made us very welcome and the food was superb. Buffet/cooked breakfast included in the price. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and every step had been taken to ensure staff and guests were COVID compliant.
Beautiful hotel for a night away. lovely room with a bath which was very clean and well stocked with tea and coffee. our dog loved his stay- amazingly dog friendly, he joined us for dinner and breakfast and enjoyed all the dog treats.
dinner at the restaurant was lovely as was breakfast.
lovely walks from the hotel.
Stayed overnight on a long distance walk. It's close enough to Malham and the Pennine Way goes right thru it. Perfect location. And the FOOD was WOW. Better than either of the pubs in Malham and the real ale selection was impressive. Breakfast was superb as well. Nothing to complain about here.
The breakfast and the food generally was amazing, (best bacon and sausages we've ever had!) Staff was super friendly and nice. The beds were incredibly comfy and the shower was like being down a waterfall (which is obviously really good). What else can I say, very good value for money
Incredible position in the centre of Malham with walks from the doorstep. Very dog friendly with dogs allowed in bar and rooms (free biscuits and sausage with breakfast for the dogs). Excellent food, one of the best steak and ale pies I have had. Staff friendly and helpful
This little cottage is a gem. Comfortable, warm and cosy and perfectly located for exploring Malham and the surrounding area.
Thank you to the owners for the little extras (tea, coffee, biscuits and milk) which were very much appreciated after a long journey.
Fabulous location; walk from YHA Malham to Janet Foss, Gordale Scar waterfall and Malham Cove viewpoint, circular walk of three hours across the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Comfortable rooms and very clean, with good bacon baps breakfast available!
set in the most beautiful surroundings with stunning views of the river and Malham Cove.
The gorgeous restaurant overlooks the river and serve’s incredible food, if you’re vegetarian there are plenty of options.
Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good location in Malham, near the wonderful Malham Cove, & Gordale Scar. A good place to start out from, or take a break on a walk around the dales.
Close to most things in and around Malham. 20 to 30 mins to local pubs with great food. Excellent for walkers with dogs, plenty of dog friendly pubs and eateries. Close to other towns with things to do.
