Our room was cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight - great choice and really yummy. A stone's throw from the loch and hill walks and short drive to other great sights.

Check-in was very smooth. Unlike the last hotel I reviewed they had not lost our dinner reservation and were perfectly happy to accommodate a severe but unusual food allergy.
The food in the restaurant was very good and good value for money. The staff were informal and friendly but competent even though they were juggling with a full restaurant and preparation for a wedding the next day.
The breakfast was really good.
The live singer was unexpected and really excellent.
The room was well appointed, if a little small. I particularly liked the generous provision of milk for tea.

Loved our stay at Culag ! Patrick was an amazing host - the rooms were clean and warm and comfy and kitchen was well appointed. The location is hard to beat - such beautiful views and we had an amazing boat tour of the local loch area with Patrick on his boat - such a fun trip! We loved our stay at Culag!

Tiny village on the banks of Loch Lomond - nice and quiet when we visited but I imagine it's overrun with tourists in the summer.
Great pub next to the car park where we had dinner and some nice coffee shops. Make sure you pre book the boat tours! We unfortunately didn't manage to get on as they had sold out both times.

We were visiting slightly out of season and our stay was planned around playing the local golf courses. Luss itself is a pretty village and a relaxed place to stay whilst visiting the Loch Lomond area.

Luss is a beautiful little town, the views next to the Loch are stunning. Plenty of hiking trails. Lovely pubs! It is out of the way from any main towns / places so you will need a car but once you are there, there are some lovely walks along the loch you can take. It's quiet but there's lots to do if you like outdoor activities, eating out and walks or a little romantic weekend away.

Beautiful little village with a beach, pier and water sports facilities. Food at the fish and chip shop was lovely. Cute little cottages. Had a really nice feel about it. Although I would recommend buying your petrol somewhere else as the price was higher than other petrol stations on route.

The place is beautiful!
The place is beautiful! Absolutely gorgeous to stay beside such breathtaking scenery, it really is good for the soul! Just wow! My favourite place in Luss is definitely Loch Lomond itself. But, pick your accommodation carefully because although we picked a great Inn with great views, we never spotted the very fast busy road between our accommodation and Loch Lomond and the noise detracted from the amazing scenery in Luss.
Network is a challenge but to be expected in such surroundings.
Favourite place to eat was The Inn on Loch Lomond, muscles were delicious.

A sweet wee village by the loch, with all the usual gift shops and tea rooms designed for tourists. We would have spent more time walking around the place and perhaps taking a loch cruise if it hadn't rained so heavily. The views from the pier are spectacular.
Patrick is a marvellous host and even lent me his kayak for a paddle on the Loch. WE had a fridge in our room which was handy for wine and milk. WE utilized the lochside tables for quaffing wine in the evening sunshine. There is no bar or evening meal facilities here as it is a guest house and not a hotel but we used the Loch Lomond Arms in Luss for evening food which is 3 mins drive away or a 25mins walk. There is also a chippy in Luss and other dining options
A beautifully furnished place with lovely accents and a personal touch of the owner. The location is perfect right in the centre of Luss with its beautiful houses and the shore of Loch Lomond just a few houses down the road. A continental breakfast with a variety of choices is already prepared upon arrival which was especially useful for us, as we had to leave very early the next morning. I can definitely recommend this place.
Very beautiful hotel in a nice wee town on loch lomand. Staff were all really nice and the food in the restaurant was delicious. We got the vension wellington that was in the special and it was incredible. Room was massive was also very well furnished and clean. Bathroom facilities were all very good also and we even had a walk im wardrobe. Highly recommend this hotel.
Located about 45 minutes drive from Glasgow, Bonnie Barns sits on a hill overlooking Loch Lomond. The view is stunning - as is the accommodation and hot tub. The lodge had everything needed for our stay. We also walked into Luss (about 3.5 miles) where we had a Sunday roast at the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel.
Lovely traditional boutique hotel great location for exploring the area. Really good food. Staff all really friendly will definitely stop here when we visit area again. Luss is a great little village.
Absolutely adorable little b&b in Luss. The host was so helpful and responsive. We loved the proximity to one of the hotels so we could get dinner and the little breakfast we were provided was delicious.
Location great for the lake and local restaurants
Quiet area
Only 30 mins to Glasgow Airport so easy base when returning from the highlands
Cheap in comparison to other accommodation in Luss
Perfect location to visit Luss and boat trip on Loch Lomond. The Holiday Park was quiet and felt secluded. Th beds were comfortable and Caravan was very clean - in fact spotless.
Maria is exceptionally warm and welcoming! We had the best time chatting with you and knowing the life in Luss with her. The best experience in Scotland so far with her.
