The location was excellent, I was attending an event in Basingstoke and was able to catch the train a 30 second walk from the hotel at Hook and was in Basingstoke within ten minutes. There was a vending machine in the lobby for snacks and drinks, the pub next door wasn’t loud at all, and there was lots of shops within walking distance, including a Tesco on the other side of the train station. The staff were friendly, special shoutout to Yolanda who checked me in, incredible sweet and welcoming. The room was larger than most hotels I’ve spent twice as much on. Everything you could want for the price, would definitely stay again if I needed to!

The property is set in beautiful grounds which are well maintained..The staff are attentive and helpful. We were greeted with some extra special anniversary perks to help us to celebrate. The restaurant is amazing and the head chef prepared for us the most delicious dish that we have ever tasted in that specific cuisine. The breakfast was also very nice and the lady that was assisting us was friendly.
