We had a pizza on the first night and i must say it was probably the best we have ever eaten ! Breakfast was incredible and plenty of it then another meal the 2nd night which i havde to say did not dissapoint . The food here is top notch. The staff here were absolutely fantastic and so helpful and a big shout out to the manager absoultely brilliant man . Just loved this place and we will definitely be back

Did the job, cute wee room above a traditional Cumbrian pub. Great place to stay if you also want to enjoy some real ales and Cumbrian food. The staff were all lovely and it had good heating (not always the case in these parts). The breakfast the next day was tasty and served in front of a roaring fire.
Less than 2 minutes' walk from Lake Windermere, Newby Bridge Hotel has a fine restaurant, a swimming pool and a gym. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in public areas and free private parking.

We enjoyed our stay, nice and quiet, lovely view of the garden, nice breakfast, we enjoyed sitting in the lounge in the evening playing the board games. No problems taking our dog, they even had a dog menu.

The Farmstead is actually located in Water Yeat not High Nibthwaite. Water Yeat is a beautiful tiny hamlet. Nearest shop or pub is in Coniston. Beautiful night skies, no light pollution. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Fantastic pub meal at White Hart Inn at Ulverston, about ten minutes drive.
