It was very nice, we had great weather and after our round we sat out on the lovely deck with a wine and the great view of the Ailsa Craig . It was spotless clean, we like that.

It fulfilled all our needs. We travelled back and forth for the Girvan folk festival. The kitchen and living space was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The campsite was quiet and well located. Only suggestion would be to enclose a site map to help find the caravan, it took up a bit of searching to find it. But apart from that I would happily recommend it and would definitely use it again.

Excellent communication easy to find .
I’m travelling for work nearby village . I felt safe , nearest place for shopping is Asda which is about 10 min drive . There is no phone signal due to where you are but the Wi-Fi is really good . The shower is hot and powerful. The apartment is really spacious. The area is really quite as well

Girvan is a hidden gem. Gorgeous old buildings. Beautiful, clean beach and harbour. And genuinely friendly people. I had a great curry there too, at Jasmine’s. Art centre, community garden, great library, antique shops and brilliant accommodation at the Southfield Hotel. All easy walking. Great views across the sea to Ailsa Craig. Apart from that it's a dump! Noisy Fair across the road from our B&B. Rows of neglected terraced seafront houses and B&Bs. Gangs of noisy kids roaming. The beach was fantastic and clean.
The beach was fantastic and clean. The town centre was closed when we were there but plenty of shops to look around. Fantastic views all around from every road. From mountains to the beach and lots of old historic looking buildings. Lovely harbour to walk on and a you can catch the ferry to Ireland. We enjoyed our overnight stay there. It’s a lovely place for dog walkers or couples or lone travellers to go, for family’s it’s ok but you need to travel into girvan for a decent play park, they have a small kids soft play which will entertain young kids from age of 3-6 years as it wasn’t up to much! There is amusements for the older kids, a lovely harbour and decent enough park, there is also boat trips you can go on aswell! It’s a nice enough place but I’d say it would be more suited to couples rather than families with a few young children! There is a very small asda also and few shops to explore within the town! You also have turnberry lighthouse that you can visit and culzean castle, it’s £30 to walk the grounds of culzean castle without going into that actual castle it’s self!PaulUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

It's great for kids the beach is spotless. Theres also a play area for kids out the back of the bar restaurant onsite. Food is good and there is a swimming pool which you have to book. Caravan I stayed in was spotless I will definitely be back. Great for family break. 👍👍👍Girvan

Tony was kind enough to upgrade us to a seaview room, and what fantastic views there are to see, particularly of Ailsa Craig and the night sky. The bedroom was lovely, warm and super comfortable with everything provided. The breakfast was delicious and we were more than happy with the full Scottish breakfast, but there was also cereals, juices, breads, toast, yoghurts, ham, cheese and facility to make boiled eggs if preferred.

Hot water, lovely bath and toiletries and fluffy towels. Offered to make up a fire for me in the guest lounge. Comfortable bed. Provided decaffeinated tea, fruit, choice of yoghurt and toast with marmalade for breakfast. Quiet location but only 10 to 15 minutes from Girvan which has a parkrun, lovely cafes and shops. Beach and seaside walks at Girvan too.

The location was great to get to nearby takeaway and pub, or take a walk to the waterfront. Cute courtyard garden for sitting in the sun or watching ovet the water. Or even trying a bit of fishing! Great hosts, very welcoming with lots of little extras like tea, coffee and biscuits. Would heartily recommend to all for a wee break in Girvan. Hope to return sometime. We loved it ❤

The public service was available to travel from Ayr to the caravan. And also from the caravan location to Girvan. The caravan was clean. Appliances like fridge, cooker, tv with Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube were available. Wifi was great. Overall a super experience.
