We were walking the Cotswold Way and the Swan was right on the Route. The Room was beautiful it was very well decorated very airy. The bathroom and shower were brilliant and it was such a nice Space. The evening meal was lovely and the service was ok. There was one lady who was a bit grumpy and sharpe, but to be fair, it did look like they were a little short staffed.

Boasting a garden, The Swan is set in Thornbury and also provides a shared lounge and a bar. The property is situated an 8-minute walk from Thornbury Castle. Every room has a patio with city views.

The room was nice and clean, new and well thought out and next to the owners house. It was on a quiet estate and as a single traveller I felt quite safe. There were even a couple of chocolates with the coffee facilities, a nice touch!
